Biography

' There are so many strange things about, and so little time...! '

-
Cryptic "Cordial" Watcher
Great Nephew of Heart Sweete

Fateweaver < Destiny < Hope < LavenderCha < Me!

" Such a heavy burden rests on those shoulders... Perhaps kin really will aid him in this journey of his. "

He was one of three hatchlings, all with odd ties to many bloodlines. Some arose with a fervor in the trio, while others rested dormant in their bloodline. In the case of Cryptic, however, the strongest pull came from his great great grandfather Cotton Candy. The first thing he saw was not his own nest, nor his parents. No, it was a strange space in the sky above, hovering alongside so many others, great aunts and uncles scattered about as they struck down meteors scattered all around him. He knew, deep down, he couldn't help them up here. He may have their strength, their power, but he also had other talents, ones that risked him being struck instead simply by a strange vision taking him at an inopportune time. His great aunt Heart Sweete was up there, striking out at as many meteors as she could reach, all because he'd told her where she needed to go to join the fight in time, and where to go to prepare. He could help in his own way, even if he didn't strike the meteors himself all too often, and that filled him with relief.

It wasn't until he was a bit older that his family learned of this great aunt Heart Sweete, lost in their little home as she tried to find where exactly she was supposed to go. She'd seen him, apparently, in a little vision of her own. They were quick to send the little one off with her, assuming she had plenty of experience with this fortune telling ability he had. Family was family, after all. Neither seemed to mind as they went on their way, each one worrying about their own futures without needing to say a word aloud.

It was in the city of Sailuma that the two settled down, with their eyes set on the stars above. Not only was this going to be a point where Heart could take off to destroy some meteors when the time came, but it also held many scholars who studied strange oddities of this world, working with many others to hone their own magic until they were masters in their respective fields. Cryptic saw it as the perfect opportunity to help Heart hone her own abilities, especially with the usual falling debris around the territory in general. Heart, however, saw it as something for Cryptid. He worried so much over her own future battle, hardly taking time to look into his own interests. Perhaps the strange drakes of the city, the former inhabitants of Arcadia, would take his mind off his worries of tomorrow, instead focusing on the mysteries of today.

That's what he does to this day, studying the former ancients who lived in Arcadia before their own catastrophe long ago. They're odd in their own right, and he can't help but investigate a good mystery while the meteor shower draws ever closer. Besides, he gets free sweets out of the deal! That, to him, was more than worth it.

Generation 4 ; Out of this Galaxy.

[CottonCandy is considered Gen 0!]

CottonCandy -> YaeMiko -> Hope -> LavenderCha -> Me!
A lineage based off trying to hatch 100 star kiddos to combat and destroy hundreds of meteor that’ll occur in two years from now to save Sornieth! Each hatchling is given a special power that they can carry on to their descendants and so on! Check in or Follow CottonCandy’s journey here!
This dragon carries the ability of Spacial Weaving, Fortune Telling, Spacial Vision, and Dimensional Portal creation! To read more about what they do check here!

Otherwise, this hatchling when bred can carry the following abilities down w/a 50/50 chance separately!
Out Of This Galaxy Notes:
  • Drank a button vial and obtained Spacial Vision. He was aiming for an innocent vial, but Marva's antics got in the way of that. He seems fine with the button eyes instead.
  • Stars rest in loops around him, his former sparkle gene causing them to spin rapidly in patterns. This led to his starfall gene forming instead.
  • He didn't notice when his flaunt gene shifted, nor when his wings took on the appearance they did. All he knows is that it was sometime during his training in the Starwood Strand, specifically under the guidance of the scholars of the Divided Spire as they worked together to understand his powers, as well as his aunt's powers.
  • Less of a fighter, more of a talker/watcher.
  • He often uses spacial weaving as a sort of embroidery, jotting down notes in scrap fabric kept on his person to ink over later. He knows better than to disconnect the weave, at least forcefully, and often just lets it dissipate on the end when he's done with it.
  • Rarely uses dimensional portals due to the suddenness of his fortune telling, as he doesn't want to risk crashing while traveling through portals. He's willing to let others use them, however, as he has more stars than his great aunt Heart (Gen 4 vs Gen 1)
  • Has 12 stars due to being a Gen 4 OotG descendant.

Chaos. Creatures in a panic, running, screaming. Violence, death, fire and thunder. A world set ablaze, turning the clouds gray and the silent winds begin to carry the cries of thousands. The faintest memory, perhaps just a passing nightmare.

A shell, or a ship, a vessel. A gnawing, biting cold. Black, empty, nothingness. Quiet.

Then, we awake. We awake to see a word we barely know, eyes barely open, limbs barely controlled, memories lost or, perhaps, they never were there to begin with. A rebirth, maybe just a birth, but a life begins nonetheless. Meteor after meteor his the ground, nearly crashing into others it had fallen alongside. More chaos, like the dream, as dragons large and small dodge the flaming rocks pelting the terrain from space. Am important event for many, a sign from their god, comets carrying prophecies or perhaps prophets, but the meteor is the most important to Them.

The little beasts crawl out of the cracked meteors, forms different from what they'd seen on Sornieth before. An Aether there, another climbing from that rock, a Sandsurge over there? But there's something off about them, something wrong. Some have large appendages on their heads, others swirling glyphs and golden magics with hooves instead of claws on their back feet. Another with far too many feathery wings and paws like a Hainu. A fourth with gnarly teeth and swirling eyes bites at anyone who comes near. These strange creatures, arriving in their vessels during the meteor shower pelting Sornieth, this is important to them.

A new experience. A new world. A second chance to live new lives.

A rebirth.
