Adrift

Somewhere beyond the bounds of traditional geography, there exists a vast oceanic region from which none who arrive may ever leave. This unseen sea is beautiful, picturesque, and teeming with life, but it is also barren of dragonkind; it is populated solely by two sisters, the Queen of the Shallows and the Queen of the Depths. Once as close as any nestlings, years of creative differences have driven the sisters apart, and they now rule their empty kingdoms as bitter rivals, a grudge deepened by untold years of bitter loneliness and made permanent by the stasis of an empty world.

But now, something is beginning to shift. Change is coming to the Lost Sea. For the first time ever, dragons are appearing; new dragons. None have a clue how they arrived, and none have any means of escape. Spurred into cooperation by mutual desperation, these dragons -- the Castaways -- have begun to band together into burgeoning communities. At long last, the twin kingdoms have found their people.
