Kingdom of Godrule

Deep within the arid countries stands a kingdom of fresh life and stunning gold. Built upon a flourishing oasis by the sea, the kingdom of Godrule had silks, gold, and riches worth the envy of the world.
Entering the colorful kingdom you could see flowing banners and pristine flowers adorning the buildings, and people in swaths of comfortable fabric enjoying the temperate air and crystal blue skies.
The castle was beautiful and glimmered in the sun with the touch of Midas. The lush plants decorated the jewel laden rooms. Plush and lavish pillows and ornate carpets woven from masterful hands made the sweet-smelling rooms of the castle perfect in every way.
The reigning monarch was nearly a pharaoh-- a god to Godrule's inhabitants. The immense wealth and power of the person at the head was craved and sought after by others in power all over the world. Plots for the throne were as common and daily as the ringing of the church bells.
That is because of the way power transfers in this godly kingdom: the assassin rules.
