At various locations throughout the Plague domain, infectious diseases guide dragons through false, hallucinatory worlds contracted by inhaling various toxins, digesting infected organisms, or being attacked by Plagued beasts.

Through time, scholars have documented the following four recurring oases: The Forest, from eating infected plants and animals; the Water, from drinking contaminated water; the Timescape, from endless sleepless nights; and the Otherworldly, from inhaling noxious air.

The only way out is through. Dragons who succumb to these worlds are incorporated into the landscape, making them all the richer and more enticing.
