--TLDR--

With the shade back on Sornieth, The Arcanist seeks to band Dragonkind together to defeat it. Unfortunately the shade is too strong, and without the Them, dragonkind as we know today would likely be extinct. Enter: The Age of Entertainment, where a majority of dragons travel between territories as they please with little resistance from others, as well as dragons and Them traveling to and from Elsewhere as they please. Dragons begin to develop portents as a result of living alongside the Them, though more studies need to be done on how exactly it works. You can read more about the portents and my magic system here (it’s a huge WIP), and my general lore here

Buttercup & Cherrybloom
(The Sun and Moon are in Love)

My beloved Buttercup! She looks very crowded because of the apparel, but believe me she is gorgeous beneath all of that. Check her bio for her with just the skin and with no apparel at all <3

Parade
(A Savior of Sornieth)

Parade is one of the first few Them to appear on Sornieth, legendary for fighting off The Shade in what would’ve been dragonkind’s final hours without her.

Lofi & Bebop
(Local Girlboss & Her Stupid Husband)

Bebop is the child of a very wealthy musician and Lofi is a “dragon” with an Eldritch god amount of power. She could crush him with her magic, but something about him is charming, in a lost puppy sense. He understands the concept of money, but not how much it’s truly worth; he hands thousands of treasure out like candy on a non-descript October holiday.

Malachite & Honeycrisp
(The Grass is Always Greener…)

Malachite is an angry, traumatized dragon with a peculiar taste for summoning the spirits of fallen animals to cause chaos. Honeycrisp is an equally traumatized, but much more sunshiney dragon with the power to shapeshift into any other dragon she’s ever laid eyes on, even as a child. Together, they take down a corrupt “school” for dragons “like them”, who are dangerous. Gather all the angry, traumatized teenagers in one spot!: what could possibly go wrong?

Moira
(Aye Aye, Captain!)

Moira is a pirate! Well, not really. She dreams of it, and sails the seas akin to one, but being a law-abiding citizen and roleplaying is much less dangerous than actually being a pirate. She has to look out for her crew, after all. That being said, being a guardian, she is fully capable of defending her ship and those on board.

Tragedy & Cygne
(Lowkey Addams Family Vibes)

I wasn’t kidding about the addam’s family vibes! These two love each other, deeply and wholly. They are soulmates, tied together by some ancient ritual, bound to find each other again after every death. This is their fifth rebirth.

Venus & Mars
(Love is War, War is Passion)

Venus and Mars belong to one another, truly. While Mars denounced his association with the ice flight long ago, dressing in orange to signify his allegiance to the fire flight, Venus is content in her inborn water flight, or she was until she met… him. I’m not fully certain where their story will go, but you bet it’s somewhere.
