Information Name // Parade -- Origin of name // Parade is a chosen name; what her given name was has been long forgotten. She is old enough to not remember why it is what it is, but she knows that it is and that there’s reason enough for it. Occupation // Parade is a freelance shade hunter, cleaning up the remnants that may be left behind and tracking down bits and chunks who may be plotting against the dragons on Sornieth. Role // Elsewhere never quite had clans, but Parade feels welcome enough when passing through the dragon clans on Sornieth, especially when she reveals her true form and proves to be trustworthy. Familiar // Amadeus -- Role of familiar // Amadeus is one of many gifts given to Parade by the dragons of Sornieth, but Amadeus is special to her, as the fallout streak was given to her by The Arcanist himself. He tends to follow her in her travels, but their ability to track strange and bizarre magical occurrences on Sornieth leaves him able to disappear for weeks at a time, only for Parade to wake up with him at her side again.

History Full Story Here Parade (and the rest of the Them) was The Arcanist’s last hope of defeating the shade, though he never quite knew it. In his cosmic discoveries, chartings of celestial bodies, The Arcanist had made note of a bustling nebula near Sornieth, but only relatively, truly it was farther from Sornieth than the earth from the sun. However, that did not stop The Arcanist. He recognized it as a living, breathing galaxy, brewing with celestial thunder and lightning. With the shade already on Sornieth, The Arcanist sent out more-or-less a cry for help in the form of a small box with parchment in it, hastily written diagrams jotted onto the paper pointing to Sornieth. He hoped it would be enough. Weeks later, when The Arcanist and his brethren were outnumbered by Shade in spite of their best efforts, the Them appeared. Little did any dragon know, the Thems had been protectors of their galaxy for eons before the first age, consumers of the Shade. Before their eyes, Parade and numerous other Thems fought, and to their surprise, the Shade fled.

Personality Parade is a dragon of many faces. With her shapeshifting comes a degree of mischief, and her playful nature is often a result of boredom. Being as old as she is, you don’t stay sane not having some way to occupy your time, and for Parade, that happens to be participating in any kind of event she can get her claws on.
