Remember to clip the lines and shadows, though, like in your first image; those need to be included in the accent itself where they overlap.

It depends strongly on the program you're using. I would google 'resize image' and 'save transparent image' for the program you're using. I wish I could help more. You want the result to look like other's entries of just the accent with no dragon.

Your RoR entry looks good, but it won't be considered unless you submit a 350x350px version with all but the accent transparent. I would love to see it have a chance.
