So a tundra dragon walks into the kelp beds and says, "Is the kelp tender here?"
Hey there, welcome to my gallery of beauties! I keep only dragons that I find beautiful, and some of them may surprise you.
I don't tend to accept friend requests unless we've interacted for a little while.

A few notes:
- Permababy dragons are considered adults with dwarfism.
- Canon age for dragons in this lair is their actual age times 10. Like many animals in the wild, they reach maturity around a year (~1 month in real time), though this varies a bit by breed (i.e. if they're old enough to breed in-game, they are canonically age of majority).
- With few exceptions, dragons are not assigned a station until they are fully grown. Until then, they shadow older dragons to decide what they want to do.
- No upper age limit has been discovered, but any dragon over 80 years is considered an elder.
- Ancient breeds can mate with other breeds. The kids get WEIRD.
- Regardless of the size of the dragon, its familiar is slightly smaller, making dragons in scene mode size-accurate.
These dragons operate with great respect to one's lineage. The farther back a dragon can trace their history, the prouder they are in general. First generation dragons aren't necessarily shunned, however; being a "first generation" simply means that there is no record of one's parents, and thus no lineage.
When calculating lineage, the typical way to measure is via the
Eggline, i.e. your mother's mother's mother and so on. The farthest known ancestor in your Eggline is considered your
Greatmother.
Some dragons prefer to measure along the father's line, i.e. your father's father's father, though there is less general support for this. The corresponding term for this ancestor is your
Greatfather. All dragons in this lair have both their Greatmother and Greatfather listed, along with any kin found along either the mother's or father's direct line.
The three big families in this clan are Eagleheart (Cyan), Firewheel (Red) and Starkindle (Yellow). These dragons are rabidly clannish, desperately scrabbling for any ties to the big families.
- Eagleheart descends from Umbra, Sylva or Caela as Greatmother or Cyneweard as Greatfather. 38 dragons currently claim this family, though Talamir claims both Eagleheart and Starkindle, and Weizen and Phase claim both Eagleheart and Firewheel.
- Firewheel descends from Embyr as Greatmother or Shadow as Greatfather. 65 dragons currently claim this family, though Jolene and Koji claim both Firewheel and Eagleheart .
- Starkindle descends from Siphrusa as Greatmother or Torren or Rajon as Greatfather. 53 dragons currently claim this family, though Hallow claims both Starkindle and Eagleheart.
