The Ribut Koty has a forgotten origin, one that some say even dates before the shattering of the Earth Pillar. Ever it has been a clan small in stature, a fledgling little home in the midst of the Highland Scrub, a stopping point for travellers from as far as Dragonhome and the Southern Icefield. In time, things have changed. From an unorganised tribe of hunter-gatherers, the Ribut Koty has begun to grow. The person who runs this page is a massive nerd who will never realise that I have written this down because he's silly and wont look at the front page hurrhurr.

Valaphor was always a profound and prolific hunter. She utilised combat tactics to take down any and all creatures she saw, and with her innovative ideas she led the hunters of the Ribut Koty for many years, producing enough food and wealth to earn enough support that when she came to call for the first in the clans history, a vote, she would rise up from it as their newly selected, and first ever Matriarch.

Things started to change in the clan after that. Ranks were established, as Valaphor enforced organisation within the clan, and huge sweeping reforms became common place for months after her initiation as the Matriarch of the clan. Old friends were carried to greatness, while new dragons from far and wide benefitted from choice of skill and ability over wealth or relations. To so many, Valaphor was a legendary ruler over any others.

To others, she was a tyrant. Small pockets of her clan would always despise her, gathering their own resources and ignoring the orders or reforms of their self-imposed Matriarch. Valaphor would ever have a challenge to overcome, and her followers would always have that small, lingering worry that perhaps they weren't on the right side of the future. Only time was going to make it clear.
