Species: Were-dog (previously human)
Pronouns: She/her
Age: 20 when she died, 37 years now
Appearance: Short, springy hair, rich brown eyes and very pale skin (undead). She only has one leg, a mechanism replacing her other leg, and she wears T-shirts and trousers with one of the legs cut off to stop the material being trapped in the mechanism. She usually carries a knife for protection, but now tends to rely on other methods to get things done.
Bio: Her mother died out hunting when she was young, and her father turned to drink to deal with it, becoming abusive and kicking her out by the age of eleven. To cope with it, she also turned to drink, and is currently trying to recover from alcoholism. She never had another home, sleeping in a barn for years and taking odd jobs accompanying adventurers to log the creatures they encountered. She set out with a group to investigate Dragontooth, accidentally causing the Disaster and wiping the mountains off the map in the process. She died in the mountains, but was brought back undead by a spirit and the will of a friend. She decided to travel with that friend's group of hunters after the Disaster was over.
Personality: Gruff and a bit grouchy at times, she tends to be lovable if you get to know her, although she likes her space and her alcohol. If she dislikes someone, she'll make it clear and become very openly hostile towards them. When she's out of her shell, she's quite quiet, a listener rather than a talker, and enjoys being around her companions but doesn't often take a loudly active part in conversations.

She carries herself with ease and style, and doesn't like wearing the same clothes for more than a day, although it can be difficult during travels. She had wavy dark hair, pretty long, and she sometimes ties it up, preferring for it not to look the same too many days in a row, and becoming very inventive with it at times. She looks smart in everything she wears, no matter what it is.
Bio: Unknown mostly, but during the Disaster in the city, she helped refugees escape in exchange for blood from each. During this enterprise, she came into contact with June, a shifter, who she charged in the normal way, not realising that for June's species a bite on the neck is a blood pact. She travels with June and her group now, bonded with the Shifter.
Personality: unempathetic, cheeky, a little flirtatious and stubbornly unwilling to acknowledge subtext.
Special Items:
Special Skills: Incredibly strong, goes by a very good sense of smell but can't see in colour. She claims her taste in clothes is because of the different ways dye smells.

Bio: she is an angel that rebelled against God, wanting nothing more than to be free to be herself. She was kicked out of heaven after shattering the mirror of truth. In a way she got what she wished for, but life outside of heaven was a lot harsher than she expected. She had her first encounter with a monster shortly after being kicked out of heaven, leading to a battle that cost her an eye. She was rescued and cared for by a kind human family. Shunned by most of the humans in the city for being different, Serena reluctantly left the family after she had recovered enough. She made a vow afterwards to protect those who can't fight off the creatures themselves. She travels from place to place, wearing a cape to hide her wings so she can pass as human. Over time she has become a fierce but rather reckless warrior and has saved a few people from the monsters. She never stays in one place very long, and dislikes the attention she gets. She especially hates it when people ask her about her scars.

Personality: she is a loner, traveling alone even though she knows that it is stupid and dangerous. For the most part she keeps to herself, but when angered she turns violent. She is very loyal and friendly towards those she cares about, but they must earn her trust first.

Special Items: a dagger and a sword.

Species: Valkyrie

Gender: Female
Age: About 29
Appearance: A tall female, with long hair usually braided back and a light blue eye. She wears a long cloak most of the time, which hides her wings, and leaves the hooded piece down. She had various scars down her face, from some fights and such. Her right eye is missing, from a curse, and is covered by a pale blue patch. She never shows her eye to anyone, but it is a faint glowing white underneath the covering. She also has a long, glowing streak of the same color down her belly, followed by a few marks she can't read herself. Alotte is tall for her age, and is about 6+ feet tall. She has a set of large, grey wings with a zigzag pattern down the feathers, and a bit of feathers growing on her neck and at the base of them. Scars run down her arms and leg, and she is missing a few toes on her right foot from an accident in the caves.
Personality: (TBH)
Bio: Being born during the war, her parents were loyal Valkyries to the Night, and abandoned her to go and fight. Forced to grow up alone, and always scared, she usually would stay in barns and caves, where it was dark. One day, another Valkyrie found her, and started to teach her more about their language, plus basic English. But it was not kindness or pity that the warrior wanted to teach her, it was so that she would be able to fight for the Darkness. As soon as she was about 5, she was forced into brutal training, the person's kindness fading into a more abusive nature. If she didn't do the spell properly, she would not eat, and get a cut on her arm to show her flaws. After she learned to use her healing, she tried to heal herself, but was punished for trying to remove the scars. By the age of 10, she was good at her combat, and fought well, though she was only good at a few spells, such as death curses. Her healing was pushed back more, and same with her other powers, so that she would be ready to go and fight. By the time she was 11, she had ran away, for a better life, and never saw the evil person again. Stumbling through strange worlds and fighting for her life, she met another person; A sweet-looking angel. Believing in trust for that moment, she didn't hide, but what little hope she had left was crushed as the person attacked. A blast of light sent her flying, and by the time she woke up, her eye glowed brightly and she found herself at the brink of death. The angel's sword had cut her chest, and left another glowing mark, which never fully healed to the day. It was a simple sign to show that she was a creature of the shadows, and would never belong.ld

After the Final Battle:

Alotte had decided to abandon her group, a bit after the Final Battle ended. She moved to a village, where she learned more spells from a witch, who agreed to help if Alotte collected herbs. After that, she left the village and moved to a larger one, and made her own bar where she usually is found working. She doesn't mind seeing all of the different people, but does refuse to most light creatures if they even argue to her, due to her short temper.
Skills: Flying, hand combat, and sword-fighting. SHe is also good with spells.
Flaws: Sarcastic, sometimes hard-headed, bad with some weapons, bad at controlling her temper
Special items: Formerly a sword, which is lost, and she is skilled in killing spells and some healing spells.
Bird Class: Caprimulgiform Physiology (oilbirds, potoos, nighthawks, nightjars)
Bird Related Powers: Night Vision, Echolocation, Camouflage, Inaudibility, Hibernation, Darkness Adaptation
Extra: Gets migraines and nosebleeds frequently, and has a past with the old group. Easily agitated when someone mentions it. Hates most humans, but won't kill the offspring because she knows what it felt like to be alone. Doesn't like the terms of people being called half bloods.

Name: Callum "Call" Muraco

Species: Human/Shadow Mage

Pronouns: He/him

Age: 17

Special Items: A silver dagger; when certain words are uttered, the weapon transforms into dual daggers with a 3-foot chain connecting them by the hilts (imagine the same dagger but multiplied by two and having a chain added). The runes on the dagger(s) glow a jade green whenever the weapon strikes something/someone. He also wears a special emerald pendant that allows for the transformation of his dagger to occur.

Personality: Despite being just a little introverted, preferring to be alone with his companion, Raven (whose image link I'll put up in the bio section), Callum can still socialize fine, is rather kind, and does his best to remain on the good side of others... unless they threaten those close to him. He hates arguments and tends to try staying away from them as much as possible, but when he does overhear one, or worse, is involved himself, his mind will most likely unravel at a fast rate; yelling in general doesn't sit well with him. However, despite that, he will stand against anyone who comes close to hurting his friends, even if he has to get in an argument himself. He almost always becomes self-conscious when he is around those older than him, especially if they are taller than he is. Even though he tries to let the events in his past go, the memories always come back to haunt him, especially in his nightmares. Despite this, he will brave through his fears and doubts for the sake of another, that or if there are no other options. He isn't afraid to die for his friends and allies, which gives him a reckless side. He is also very persistent, unwilling to give up, especially in a fight. This usually leads to him being severely injured or, in the worst case scenario, near death. He doesn't prefer to look out for himself, instead paying attention to other people, adding a selfless factor to him. He can also keep a cool head in many situations, remaining calm and collected... most of the time. However, his worst fear, that being gaining too much power and letting it get to his head, can stop him sometimes, as well as remembering his near death experience in the past. One more thing; he gets rather insecure and a little irritated when someone calls him a "kid". He knows he technically is one, but that doesn't mean he has to like it.

Appearance: Callum stands at 5'8" with short, pitch black hair and a few bangs in the front, a pale complexion, and stormy grey eyes, which have a darker ring of grey around the pupils; when he uses his shadow magic, his eyes glow a fiery orange. He has a long, diagonal scar curling around the right side of his neck, which he covers up, as well as having a black crescent moon-shaped tattoo on his right hand. His usual attire consists of a black cloak, a black tunic underneath, a light grey scarf to cover up the scar on his neck, black pants, black shoes, and a necklace with a crescent-shaped pendant, which has an emerald attached. He also wears a black plague doctor mask, mostly in the daytime to shield the light from his eyes.

Bio: TBA, but I can give you some details... he has a psycho brother who hates him/wants him dead (and nearly murdered him) and an older sister who cares about him with all her heart, who died roughly three years ago, leaving him alone until he found company. His father is an alcoholic and doesn't give a crap about any of them. He has knowledge of who the spirits of Night and Light are. Since he was 12, he trained with his magic in order to apply it as a gift rather than a curse. When he was 16, he was cursed by an unknown force in the shadows; it's an experience he would rather not talk about or remember in detail. After a couple weeks had passed, he crossed paths with an abandoned wolf pup with wings, whom he named Raven. He used to be apart of a small (and I mean very small) group of shadow mages such as himself, who set out to hunt down rogue monsters, but after being cursed, he defected, not only to get used to his curse, but to also live a more peaceful life and raise Raven the way she deserved to be raised. He is currently living in a secret glade with Raven; he only visits Lough once or twice a month.

Special Skills: Callum's entire being is fueled by shadow magic, meaning that if most or all of it is drained from him, he will die. He is best trained in the usage of this magic, having several different techniques.

-Dark Shield Construction: he can create domes of darkness around himself; he can do it with others as well, but he isn't well-versed with this variation. These domes aren't invulnerable, and can quite easily be destroyed with any kind of light attack, or just light in general (even lightning can do the trick).
-Darkness Spike Projection: He can create and project needles/spikes of darkness to attack/impact targets. He has to draw them from the shadows, so he can't create them in midair, and he certainly can't make them sprout from just any surface; it has to be from a shadow (and no, he can't make spikes come from someone else's shadows, otherwise he would be able to kill people easily XD). This form of his magic drains him very quickly; only Shadow Swimming and Shadow Mimicry consume his energy faster than projecting spikes made of darkness.
-Umbrakinetic Combat: He can apply darkness to physical combat, essentially fusing them together. For example, he can imbue his fists with shadows or cover his entire form with shadows whenever he goes to tackle his foes. Any light creatures can outdo him while he is using this technique; in fact, anything emitting some kind of light can overpower him (for example, fire, lightning, etc.).
-Shadow Swimming: He can sink into and swim in the shadows as if they were water. If light were to be shined upon the shadows he is hiding in, he won't be forced out, but rather, he will be trapped within those shadows, unable to get out until the light fades away. This variation of his magic takes up a lot of energy and will drive him insane the longer he is within the shadows.
-Darkness Empowerment: He is stronger in darker areas. He becomes faster, stronger and more durable in areas of darkness (though not too durable... he is naturally frail). However, he is weakest in areas of intense light. In fact, the light can hurt him badly... it doesn't burn him, but it essentially drains his energy and causes him pain, sometimes to the point where he can't move at all.
-Darkness Adaptation: Though he doesn't have night vision, he can adapt to the dark rather easily, able to maneuver around without running into anything while in the dark. However, like with any other environment, he can't move around so well when he is disoriented, which happens pretty often when he uses the other variations of his magic. This also makes him especially susceptible to being blinded by intense light, like any other person/creature who aren't immune to being blinded, except doubly worse. This variation doesn't drain him; it comes naturally to him.
-Shadow Mimicry: This is the pinnacle of his magic; he can merge with his own shadow to become a living shadow, or in other words, have a body made of shadows. He can still be hit, as he doesn't become an actual intangible shadow. While performing this technique, Shadow Swimming becomes more tolerable for him, allowing him to stay within a pool of shadows for much longer. However, Shadow Mimicry drains more energy than all of the other variations of his magic (in fact, every time he uses it, he passes out afterwards), hence he only uses it in emergencies. He cannot use this in complete darkness, as he doesn't cast a shadow in the dark... so that means he has to put himself in an area of light where he can merge with his shadow, which will put him at risk due to light's harmful affect on him.

Other than his magic, he has an immense amount of courage and is willing to take on any foe as long as he can spare those close to him from potentially dying. He is also pretty fast, but this is balanced by him being frail. He is also skilled with his dagger(s). The curse that weakened his mind also somewhat benefited him by making him immune to afflictions that can turn one into a specific species, such as vampirism and lycanthropy.

Weaknesses: Light. Just. Light. Any kind of light, really. Mainly sunlight or light elementals, but nonetheless, there is only so much light he can take being showered in before collapsing in exhaustion. The runes on the dagger(s) glow a jade green whenever the weapon strikes something/someone. He also wears a special emerald pendant that allows for the transformation of his dagger to occur.

Personality: Despite being just a little introverted, preferring to be alone with his companion, Raven (whose image link I'll put up in the bio section), Callum can still socialize fine, is rather kind, and does his best to remain on the good side of others... unless they threaten those close to him. He hates arguments and tends to try staying away from them as much as possible, but when he does overhear one, or worse, is involved himself, his mind will most likely unravel at a fast rate; yelling in general doesn't sit well with him. However, despite that, he will stand against anyone who comes close to hurting his friends, even if he has to get in an argument himself. He almost always becomes self-conscious when he is around those older than him, especially if they are taller than he is. Even though he tries to let the events in his past go, the memories always come back to haunt him, especially in his nightmares. Despite this, he will brave through his fears and doubts for the sake of another, that or if there are no other options. He isn't afraid to die for his friends and allies, which gives him a reckless side. He is also very persistent, unwilling to give up, especially in a fight. This usually leads to him being severely injured or, in the worst case scenario, near death. He doesn't prefer to look out for himself, instead paying attention to other people, adding a selfless factor to him. He can also keep a cool head in many situations, remaining calm and collected... most of the time. However, his worst fear, that being gaining too much power and letting it get to his head, can stop him sometimes, as well as remembering his near death experience in the past. One more thing; he gets rather insecure and a little irritated when someone calls him a "kid". He knows he technically is one, but that doesn't mean he has to like it.

Appearance: Callum stands at 5'8" with short, pitch black hair and a few bangs in the front, a pale complexion, and stormy grey eyes, which have a darker ring of grey around the pupils; when he uses his shadow magic, his eyes glow a fiery orange. He has a long, diagonal scar curling around the right side of his neck, which he covers up, as well as having a black crescent moon-shaped tattoo on his right hand. His usual attire consists of a black cloak, a black tunic underneath, a light grey scarf to cover up the scar on his neck, black pants, black shoes, and a necklace with a crescent-shaped pendant, which has an emerald attached. He also wears a black plague doctor mask, mostly in the daytime to shield the light from his eyes.

Bio: TBA, but I can give you some details... he has a psycho brother who hates him/wants him dead (and nearly murdered him) and an older sister who cares about him with all her heart, who died roughly three years ago, leaving him alone until he found company. His father is an alcoholic and doesn't give a crap about any of them. He has knowledge of who the spirits of Night and Light are. Since he was 12, he trained with his magic in order to apply it as a gift rather than a curse. When he was 16, he was cursed by an unknown force in the shadows; it's an experience he would rather not talk about or remember in detail. After a couple weeks had passed, he crossed paths with an abandoned wolf pup with wings, whom he named Raven. He used to be apart of a small (and I mean very small) group of shadow mages such as himself, who set out to hunt down rogue monsters, but after being cursed, he defected, not only to get used to his curse, but to also live a more peaceful life and raise Raven the way she deserved to be raised. He is currently living in a secret glade with Raven; he only visits Lough once or twice a month.

Special Skills: Callum's entire being is fueled by shadow magic, meaning that if most or all of it is drained from him, he will die. He is best trained in the usage of this magic, having several different techniques.

-Dark Shield Construction: he can create domes of darkness around himself; he can do it with others as well, but he isn't well-versed with this variation. These domes aren't invulnerable, and can quite easily be destroyed with any kind of light attack, or just light in general (even lightning can do the trick).
-Darkness Spike Projection: He can create and project needles/spikes of darkness to attack/impact targets. He has to draw them from the shadows, so he can't create them in midair, and he certainly can't make them sprout from just any surface; it has to be from a shadow (and no, he can't make spikes come from someone else's shadows, otherwise he would be able to kill people easily XD). This form of his magic drains him very quickly; only Shadow Swimming and Shadow Mimicry consume his energy faster than projecting spikes made of darkness.
-Umbrakinetic Combat: He can apply darkness to physical combat, essentially fusing them together. For example, he can imbue his fists with shadows or cover his entire form with shadows whenever he goes to tackle his foes. Any light creatures can outdo him while he is using this technique; in fact, anything emitting some kind of light can overpower him (for example, fire, lightning, etc.).
-Shadow Swimming: He can sink into and swim in the shadows as if they were water. If light were to be shined upon the shadows he is hiding in, he won't be forced out, but rather, he will be trapped within those shadows, unable to get out until the light fades away. This variation of his magic takes up a lot of energy and will drive him insane the longer he is within the shadows.
-Darkness Empowerment: He is stronger in darker areas. He becomes faster, stronger and more durable in areas of darkness (though not too durable... he is naturally frail). However, he is weakest in areas of intense light. In fact, the light can hurt him badly... it doesn't burn him, but it essentially drains his energy and causes him pain, sometimes to the point where he can't move at all.
-Darkness Adaptation: Though he doesn't have night vision, he can adapt to the dark rather easily, able to maneuver around without running into anything while in the dark. However, like with any other environment, he can't move around so well when he is disoriented, which happens pretty often when he uses the other variations of his magic. This also makes him especially susceptible to being blinded by intense light, like any other person/creature who aren't immune to being blinded, except doubly worse. This variation doesn't drain him; it comes naturally to him.
-Shadow Mimicry: This is the pinnacle of his magic; he can merge with his own shadow to become a living shadow, or in other words, have a body made of shadows. He can still be hit, as he doesn't become an actual intangible shadow. While performing this technique, Shadow Swimming becomes more tolerable for him, allowing him to stay within a pool of shadows for much longer. However, Shadow Mimicry drains more energy than all of the other variations of his magic (in fact, every time he uses it, he passes out afterwards), hence he only uses it in emergencies. He cannot use this in complete darkness, as he doesn't cast a shadow in the dark... so that means he has to put himself in an area of light where he can merge with his shadow, which will put him at risk due to light's harmful affect on him.

Other than his magic, he has an immense amount of courage and is willing to take on any foe as long as he can spare those close to him from potentially dying. He is also pretty fast, but this is balanced by him being frail. He is also skilled with his dagger(s). The curse that weakened his mind also somewhat benefited him by making him immune to afflictions that can turn one into a specific species, such as vampirism and lycanthropy.

Considered to look younger than her actual age, she's still in shape for a good battle and still very swift on her feet. Her main outfit themes were a bit masculine and unisex for casual wear, when sets out to do her jobs she'd wear her Hunter's uniform, which was made out of leather and fur with the symbol of the Night Spirit colored in red painted right at the chest.

Bio: Her past was a literal mess, but all that has lead her up to this point. She participated in the great battle years ago along with her group, lost a lung and took several months to recover after it but she managed. Now she carries on serving her faction like she has always do for most of her life, which had grown to be one of the most feared and respected Hunter faction among societies, whispered words on the street spread like wildfire about the faction and what they did, though they weren't always true as for only who had been there themselves would know. But her group and herself carried on with their usual jobs; signing contracts everywhere to help the people clearing out all the monsters and creatures that disturbed their homes. She's also bonded with the vampire, Tem, who she has a lot of mixed feelings for.

Bio: He was born shortly after the big battle that changed the world for what it was. He came into life with a bit of difficulty but managed to came unscathed, he had been born into and grew up alongside with his faction, only members within knows of his heritage.
