A few days late posting this, but on the 13th I hatched my very first nest! Fen and Silene gave me 2 eggs - Mire [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=75791639][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/757917/75791639_350.png[/img][/url] and Marsh! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=75791640][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/757917/75791640_350.png[/img][/url] While I obviously would have prefered a bigger nest, I'm pretty pleased that my first nest had a hatchling that beat the odds! Mire has Slime, which he only had a 15% chance to have :) Their parents are named after a type of wetland (Fen), and a type of wetland flower (Silene), so I figured I'd stick with the naming theme for their hatchlings. If anyone here takes a liking to either of these kids, let me know and I'll send them on over for free! <3 (If you like them but aren't fond of their names, no worries if you end up changing them!)

I had rolled a few times, but couldn't find a cheap enough dragon to fit my budget, so i gave up and decided to look for xxx's to buy that were affordable. When I bought Aylith, I realized she was named after a Lovecraftian God and decided to play along with that when I bought her mate, Hastur. The two will be a Lovecraft themed pair (despite me knowing little to nothing about his work) so their children will be named after Lovecraftian gods and whatnot. For Hatterene, Magenta was actually the first color I rolled around the time I bought Aylith. I couldn't find any Magenta/the opposite color, so I held off buying her. I went back to the AH a little later and found someone selling Magenta Imps for fodder price, so I decided to buy her because why not? I bought her mate Haxorus a bit later, for 300kt. Yeah, budget nonexistent now. The two are a Pokemon themed breeding pair, so I'll be naming all their offspring after Pokemon :) They have breeding cooldowns and won't be able to breed until March!
