Each day I’ll use random.org to select three Wind-related nouns from a list in a post below, and users will have to include all three things in their entry. For anyone that wants an extra challenge, I’ll also pull two verbs from a second list, though including either or both of them is completely optional. Participants can either combine traits from the selected words into a single new creation, or show the separate objects/action(s) in the same picture. This contest is meant to let people stretch their creativity without worrying about how they compare to others, so just have fun with it! [*]Users may only submit one entry per daily set of words. [*]Daily word sets will probably be posted a few hours before rollover the night before. [*]Users will have either 24 hours or until I post a new set of words to submit an entry for each word set, whichever comes later. That way users will still have 24 hours to submit an entry for a set of words if I post a new set slightly early and will have extra time to submit if I’m a little late. [*]Entries can be made with traditional or digital art, modeling clay, Legos, dried macaroni noodles, or anything else under the sun! Just make sure aspects of the daily words are included. [*]Daily words don’t have to be the focus of the art. If you want to draw a spiral dragon baking cookies while wearing an apron patterned with little images of whatever the daily words are, go for it! Conversely, you also don’t have to include a lot of additional detail in the art if you don’t want to—three items lying on a flat surface is equally acceptable. [*]Non-digital entries can be photographed for submission. They don’t have to look professional, just as long as the overall image can be made out and aspects of the daily words are visible. [*]Entries will need to be uploaded to some kind of image-hosting site to be posted here.
