hello naughty children, it's eldritch horror time

Seriously though this seems like fun and the lore possibilities - especially for this clan and it's strange strange reality bending-ness - would be cool to explore.

I'll probably hold off on doing this just yet since I want to have more lore on my current dragons before I go about writing new lore and gaining more dragons - ah the trails and tribulations of recently up heaving and renovating your own clan lore x3

May I be pinged? since I'm interested in how your progress goes :3
Possibly when I do this I might hatch one of the plague eggs I've been keeping in the vault - it seems appropriate cx

Just some questions or clarifying (it's 2am so forgive me if I missed the obvious, I should be in bed, curse you insomnia)
- can you give your founder genes after their first nest or no? And the same question for the heirs?
- do you have to keep all your previous heirs after they've been bred? (I plan too but I can't speak for future me and whether I'll exalt for lair space/sudden clan upgeaveks etc etc)

@Luciferr Ahh, your post made me happy. :D I know the pressures of revamping the lore of the main clan, but I must say I'm looking forward to seeing your founders once you take this challenge on (and it would be epic if you hatched your founder from an egg!). c: Good luck with your lore renovations, by the way! [/quote] After your founder or any heirs have bred for this challenge as they "naturally were," you may do whatever you'd like with them! Feel free to give them genes, breed-change them, scatter them, keep them as they are... or, of course, you may exalt or sell them. Whatever floats your boat. :D

Ok I'm staring this challenge! Today I bred my founder and his mate and they produced a nice 3 egg nest. Can't wait to see the results! Or now renamed to Seaquest (adding quest to the ends of my heir names, bc it will make it easier for me to just track through them - worth it for all the scrolls to me) It was almost Bee though! That would've been no upgrades. Beast went down early on, and Sea was dodging like crazy. Bee got down pretty low, but then Sea got hit by a few attacks and they were neck and neck! @Geology *quiet screaming because that Snapper is so handsome I can't even <3* ~ @ArouraBorialice @shepardess @Luciferr My nest for the challenge hatched today! Since before I didn't have a pinglist of people to follow my challenge, I'll be dividing my updates into two parts -- one for the nests hatching, and one detailing the victor -- so that it's a surprise who will win. Before, it would have been easy to tell judging by who was wearing clothing or not. So, for the sake of a better viewing experience, here we go! All of you know that last time I had the heartless hatch. If you recall, I left my note begging for Heartless to prove me wrong: to produce a set of hatchlings that defied the odds and made for a stronger legacy. And what did she do? ... Actually, just that! The eldest is Gabriel, who -- in spite of inheriting no gene upgrades -- got the breed upgrade to Pearlcatcher! His upgrade may be hard to spot at first, but this little fuzzball inherited Stripes! And plus -- thank goodness -- Orca is still a possible primary. Not only did she keep the Orca primary; not only did her tertiary upgrade to Okapi; but she inherited the Tiger primary! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=32360900] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/323610/32360900_350.png[/img] [/url] For these reasons, plus the gorgeous Ice wings, Noel is my favorite to win when the time comes. My preferences after her would be Gabriel (because it would be SO nice to not have a Tundra) followed by Raphael (if only because his secondary is subtle). But this doesn't mean I won't be enthralled to have any of them! I'll see you all around the end of the week with the results and who will be the crowned ruler for the sixth generation! In the meantime, "Heartless" has had her name replaced with "Aurelia" -- a symbol of her goodness that will follow her to the Tidelord. She and Rubrik are going to catch some waves.

Next Update! So I got incredibly lucky with this round. From my Fae and Spiral starters, I got two breed upgrades with one getting one gene upgrade and the other two gene upgrades. And of course one with no upgrades at all. As soon as I saw this sweetie I wanted her to win. It was a tough battle. Little Stellan was the first to fall, after surviving a grueling 7 rounds. He did well but I was glad he wasn't my heir. So at least I got some upgrades. Two rounds later, to my utter [s]delight[/s] sadness, Saga fell. I thank the dragon gods and all their glory. So lovely Saira with three total upgrades will be my heir. I have yet to choose her mate but rest assured, he will be worthy of such a beautiful and fierce warrior.
