Well, it took nine battles (I counted this time) for Arlo to get demolished by a Crimson Emperor, but his siblings have no trouble taking revenge. Their grandpa Truth joins in as coach (because seeing him as a level 2 bothers me for some reason).
After a total of 26 battles (about halfway through level 4) Spirit finally falls to a Ceanothus Brawler.

Quite a turnaround from last generation.
The trio of Nocturnes were ambushed by two Emerald Webwings, who knocked out Specter. In the next battle, another Emerald Webwing was accompanied by a Crimson Emperor, but Scavenger and Reaper had enough breath to take down the bird this time. The Emperor managed to contuse both of them, but a critical hit to Scavenger declared Reaper the winner!

It took a whopping 9 generations (only two more to go!), but this means that we finally, [i]finally[/i] have a secondary gene. My main goals for this challenge have been achieved! Now to work on finding a nice mate to potentially increase all the gene rarities (might we even get a Rare out of this??).

Quite a turnaround from last generation.
The trio of Nocturnes were ambushed by two Emerald Webwings, who knocked out Specter. Brightshine is ending very shortly, but the newest generation has hatched!
Reaper nested with a Coatl and had 3 children. An average nest with above-average hatchlings!
[b]Geode[/b], the only female, who had a primary gene upgrade to Python:
