The choice is heal themselves first!
Emerald winced as she moved, and Swiftwing noticed multiple scratches dotting her scales. However, she grabbed her supplies and held out a bottle and bandages to Swiftwing.
"Heal yourself first," she said in a tired but still determined voice. "The bottle should restore your energy and use the bandages to wrap up your wounds. Not too tight, but not too loose either. Here."
Swiftwing accepted the items. As he turned his arm to wrap the bandage around a particularly ugly wound on his forearm, he saw that the small cuts on his claws already stained the cloth red.
"These are going to be very troublesome," he commented, then realised that those wounds barely hurt at all. The Harpies' claws did not pierce too deeply and if he ignored the wounds, the pain seemed to disappear. "They won't be infected, would they?"
Emerald shook her head. She was bandaging up her own wounds, with more skill than Swiftwing of course. "No, they're small and will heal fast."
After both of them were done, Swiftwing gestured to the small Fae. He could see that she had no visible physical wounds, and was surprisingly still unconscious."I thought she would have woken up because of all the fighting and commotion. Is she still unconscious because she had a head injury or something?"
Emerald moved toward the Fae and picked up the smaller dragon. "I'm not sure," Emerald answered, doubt in her voice as she examined the Fae. "She seems fine. She doesn't look like she's on the brink of death or anything. Maybe she overexerted herself while trying to get out of the tunnel."
"Speaking of which," Swiftwing suddenly remembered. "Why did the Harpies want her? And why did they surrender her to us so quickly after fighting?"
Emerald just shrugged, putting the Fae down to pack up her things. "So...Does this mean we have to reconsider our plan of action?" she asked, turning to Swiftwing.
>>Go with the original plan and go down to find survivors.
>>Turn and go towards the Sea instead.
>>Wait for the Fae to wake up, which might take some time.
