Okay. I'm obsessed. I just love the Bogsneaks so much.
Starting a thread for a series of Frog themed Bogsneaks (Frogsneaks). Dunno if it's been done - don't care - gonna do it my way - gonna be great.

So far I have designs for...

Red-eyed tree frog <-If I'm going to make a breeding pair from this it will probably end up being very close or identical parents and one of them I will eye scroll so many times until I get multi gaze. Will need to borrow a plague nest for every clutch.

Poison dart Frog (SO MANY COLORS) <- this will be a breeding pair of basically the rainbow. Okay so I went crazy and because there are SO many kinds of Poison Dart/Arrow Frogs there are FOUR sets. CLICK HERE for more info because they deserve their own post.

Green Frogs <- these guys will be greens and browns, "boring" but just so right. won't worry hard about eyes.

Primary and secondary range will be emerald to goldenrod, tertiary range eldritch to maize.

I have added a FOURTH type of frog to this list: Glass frog.
Kinda the perfect way to use the capsule gene IMHO.
The parents will be Peridot and Pistachio XXY. Unfortunately the color range means that offspring will only be PARTIALLY glass frog (none of the inbetween colors are as light or seem to glow quite as much)...but that's okay. Secondary gene will be Bee because it's see-through.
Tertiary will be a range from ice to amber as those colors best encompass the difference colors one might see through a glass frog's belly.

I currently have sets of grandparents that can get me to these colors and close on the genes. Doesn't matter which is male/female.

If you check http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=48707&page=6 , Gwern through Ynglyfar are siblings with somewhat interconnected hatchling-lore vignettes -- are any of them froggish? (I was thinking they were more on the alligator range, but...)

I have several Bogs of several colors spread out in my Lair. I can pair them with my other Bogs or higher rarity breeds to produce more Bogs.

@Enkil Those are lovely! My Dart Bogs will probably take the longest to get the right pair - I'll definitely need to do some more research to really get the best sets of closest to real frogs. I'm really in love with poison radioactive - so colorful.

I'll definitely take suggestions for combos that look like real species!

The parents can certainly be bred again. Or I can breed their mom -- the bogsneak -- with someone else! Lemme see...

Primary:
Mom, the Bogsneak, is Lemon. Dad is Goldenrod, so they're more in the yellow there.

Secondary: Mom Caribbean to Dad's Banana.

Tertiary: Lavender Lace (mom) to Chocolate Circuit (dad).

(I was looking for something that would definitely be Noxtide, and maybe kind of Autumny. Instead, I got SWAMP MONSTERS. With Noxtide, at least.)

I could re-breed their mom to almost anyone else in the lair (I think I've got maybe 3-4 boys who are monogamous), but I'm a little low on green-range primaries. Could host a fellow for breeding, though, when next she's ready.

Or if one of the Swamp Monsters (AdainLlachar?) would be a useful starter for your breeding project, maybe a nominal stud fee, promise to name the hatchlings before sending them to a god, and kick him back to me when you're done?
