Oh no! I hope your sads go away! I hate when that happens. I don't really have a true robot, but I do have Hoax! Sooo, like a soft bodied robot? Sorta?[s]youtube computer chips in roaches it's crazy lol[/s] Anyhow, when the research hit a dead end she was used kinda carelessly in an attempt to steal arcane secrets, but was lost to the storms in the Reedcleft Ascent. Her makers pretty much assumed that there was nothing left to find, but in reality her brain became active and she's a dragon now :D [b]Edit:[/b] I just realized her lore is a year old and needs editing XD sorry if there are errors!

I technically have two, but I need to revamp their bios (and as such give them lore updates). I have a dragon who tinkers with cybernetics (aka Darius), and he has a hobby of collecting familiars and building the Bestiary. He was quickly overwhelmed with familiars, so he went scavenging for parts with the intent of piecing together a helper. He got one better when he found our Noodle of Steel (simple core replacement and wire fixes were all he needed to have him up and running again). Because he just had to recharge the core at the time, he kept his element of Lightning. He doesn't remember what he was (Darius believes he was a scavenger of sorts, perhaps a scout to check for good paths to run wiring for power generators or the such but broke whatever navigational system he'd had before, but they really just don't know), but he knows what he is now: He's the guy who helps keep the familiars in line when needed, and usually helps Darius file away his research on those familiars. He's logical for the most part, but the magic used to jump start his core may have corrupted him in a way that allows him to feel somewhat, even if he doesn't quite understand what he's feeling (or care for that matter). He rarely acts on those emotions, usually just pushing them aside as some sort of disruption to be dealt with later, but when he does, he usually ends up lost and confused afterwards, as he doesn't understand why exactly he did something so illogical. He hasn't corrected the title of Older Brother from another machine made by Darius for some reason. He was recently damaged in a fight, with his core destroyed and his memory banks damaged, but Koken's working to fix it. When Steel began to struggle with the larger familiars, Darius decided that was a good enough excuse to make another robot. So, he went out and scavenged some parts to make a larger breed. He struggled with this one, as he didn't find a pre-made robot like with Steel, but this let him experiment with crystalline cores based on pure magic, elemental or not. He didn't know the crystal color/type would affect the element, or the location where said core was found for that matter, but he certainly didn't expect his new robot to be Archaic in nature. He named him Koken (roughly translates to guard or sentinel), and set him to keep the larger familiars in check. Unlike the other bot, this one grew from hatchling-sized to an adult over time, and matured as such. Unlike Steel, Koken wanted to understand what the emotions he felt were, and he eventually made a life for himself (found a partner, somehow managed to become a father, etc). He now has an updated form that can fully express his emotions, and it is suspected he is more like a metal golem of sorts than an actual robot because of the arcane core. He's treated like any other dragon, though it's sometimes harder to do so when something breaks or freezes (he really needs to put on a cold-resistant coating when he visits Ice XD).

His creator hasn't quite decided what to do with him, but for now he makes a great watchdog.
