@Almedha Aww, they're lovely! Runa might be a hit with the customers, and I think she'll be able to get along with my own clan's bard and synthesizer. (Note on that last one: She's got a curse that censors her swear words with beautiful music; she now takes advantage of it to sing by herself or with other musicians.) Maybe she can work together with them during gigs.

I also read her lore, and that part about only being able to copy stuff, it kinda reminds me of my boy here. Can't make original art, only copies stuff. xD I can see them sitting down together and grumbling about it between Runa's performances.

Does she have any genres she specializes in? Or when she hears a song, can she only copy it exactly, or does she also do genre shifts (rock to bossa, for example) or remixes? :D

As for Dandelion, I think he wouldn't be a good employee, BUT he would make a great character! Maybe for incidents: I can see Melqart groaning about how unscrupulous and sleazy he is and trying to politely shoo him away or get him to tone it down. x3

@Artificiary Paixel is lovely! We do have a baker, but she doesn't specialize in pastries or desserts, so he would definitely be welcome at the restaurant. He could even advertise his bakery at the restaurant, if he wants. He and Melqart could be business affiliates. (Also, wow, his art is beautiful!)

And Carinus looks spectacular. :o I've got a stage magician, but he's already a bit old and prefers working in the clan's nursery, so Carinus would definitely get more time to shine. My Flaumello specializes in crafting images with light; would Carinus be interested in working with him? I can see Flo creating pictures or special effects to enhance Carinus' magic or acting performances, but if he'd rather work unaided, that's OK, too. ^^

Ahhh I loved that idea about the censor for swear words with Laurant! I think she was my favorite... Either that or Jubilant, I think? I thought he was a great characterization of a Spiral.

I'm sure Runa would love a buddy to complain with about her lack of creative ability. That sounds absolutely adorable, actually. I'll have to give his lore a read. But she can really copy anything, as long as it's a voice. She doesn't do any other kind of sound mimicking, so whatever a voice can do, she can do. But she can only copy exactly, so she wouldn't be able to improvise or anything like that. If she hears someone else do what she's supposed to do, then she wouldn't have a problem putting her voice on it, though.

That probably works for Dandelion, if he did something uncouth. He's usually pretty good about maintaining good behavior when required. But yeah, he definitely wouldn't make a good full-time employee. I don't think anyone (Dandelion included) would stand for that. He'd be kicked out before he knew what happened. xD

@Disillusionist what timing, i literally just got back from being dead from school. |D just letting you know i am still interested, yup! now that i'm free, i'm back to working on getting everything together regarding this and PM stuff and should be able to get a big ol' bundle of it to you soon. c:

@Almedha Thank you so much! I know I post my dragons often in Dragon Share, but it's still great to know that you're a bit familiar with Laurant and Jubilant. They've been with me for a long time, and I'm very fond of them. <3

No problem! Would Runa also be open to taking requests from the audience? I think it's great that she can copy songs exactly. She'd be almost like a living jukebox. :D

As for Dandelion, Melqart might have a hard time working with him, but I think he'd be fun to include in future lore. Thanks again, and feel free to hmu any time you have more characters to connect! I'll add Runa and Dandelion's info to my lore thread now.

Hey, recently joined the thread (since you tagged me here), but I think that some more interaction between our two clans can never go wrong. I think that many of my dragons would love to visit as future customers, especially Carlysle!
Also my performance troupe, consisting of Gaellian, Vladnir, Cyperus, Gloriana and Glae would love to perform occasionally. They love to travel around and visit various places in order to spread their music. A lot of their stuff is original, and composed by Gaellian. They also don’t mind performing with other artists, so long as everything runs peacefully.

Your musical troupe sounds like they'd get along with other performers, too. What sort of music do they play, and what kinds of instruments?

The instruments they use are flute, harp and vocals, and Glae is a dancer of sorts. As for the type of music they play think traditional Celtic. Very folkish and soft.

@Disillusionist I was thinking about it, and I might have dragon that would like to work as a seasonal waitress/hostess at the Crispy Phoenix. Anna's about the equivalent of fifteen and still learning things. She'd want to get a job because she wants to be some sort of responsible. She'd probably just be part-time, again, while the clan is in Light territory on jobs. Lightning loves food, and she loves trying local cuisine wherever she ends up traveling. She'd probably dine alone most times (unless she managed to drag her best friend with her) because she doesn't have many friends. She's not unfriendly; it's just that she's basically everyone in the clan's boss, and people don't really like going to dinner with their boss all that much. Or, rather, they think it's an odd thing to do. Her favorite food is probably... everything. She loves everything. Can't cook to save her life, though. Mere loves eating, but not because he loves the taste of things so much. He just loves eating. He's a little chubby, and if one were to track where all his treasure goes, they would find themselves on a straight line between restaurants and food stands all along the clan's path through Sornieth. The only hiccup is that he's allergic to citrus. He would bring Radek because it's better to argue over a meal, I guess? Arguing is their favorite pastime. And Radek would certainly go along, especially if his daughter (Anna, above) worked there. Probably to bug her. Standard dad things. And the Guardian would tag along because he always does. He basically just sits nearby in quiet amusement. It's the simple things in life. On that note, he would probably order only the most simple, non-gourmet-looking thing on the menu. Standard steak-and-potatoes kinda Guardian. But also alcohol. Because you need it if you're going to be hanging out all day with those two Tundras. Otherwise, she is pretty well-mannered and quiet, but she likes to drink and gamble and listen to music as much as the next dragon. She'd probably bring her little Pearlcatcher ward Chenek with her, because Chenek needs to get out more. Chenek is very young (probably Anna's age) but he has an illness that keeps him mostly clan-bound. And she'd also probably bring her Guardian cousin, Cek. Cek doesn't necessarily enjoy the "finer things" in life, but he does like a good meal.
