What is something that's considered inappropriate in your clan? Is it a "flight-thing"? Is it inappropriate because of a trauma of the elders, that made it a weird custom being banned?
It's completely taboo to abandon your nest, except for in the most pressing cases. The one thing connecting Oblivion's clan is their roots - all of them were born from abandoned eggs. Because of this, none of them will take kindly to one of their own giving up on a nest, subjecting their hatchlings to the same fate that had befallen them. Thankfully, this hasn't happened yet (only Oblivion and Icarus have bred since the origin of their clan), but should it ever happen, it won't be easily forgiven.

Physically speaking, it's certainly possible for a deity to visit an individual dragon, but it would be an exceedingly rare occurrence. They're simply too busy running their realms and such to bother with social calls on their creations. It's usually more individual dragons going to visit the deities (via exaltation) or interpreting certain phenomena as omens/messages from a deity.
Can deities visit dragons? How are they interpreted in your lore? Do you have dragons who are closer to one, or all deities than others? What makes them special?
It is certainly possible for a deity to visit a dragon, an honor bestowed upon the truly faithful and deserving. Such meetings are rare and precious indeed, and those few dragons who are visited often choose to devote their lives to their faith - that is, if the dragon in question was not already a devout disciple of the divine. The dragons of the Unrepentant Clan have had no such contact with the highest powers of Sornieth, and to be perfectly frank, this is largely unsurprising. Few among them believe in such powers, fewer still respect such powers, and even fewer will ever choose to undergo exaltation and serve said powers. There is plenty of proof that the divine is real, but the Unrepentant dragons have reasons to doubt even the staunchest of proof. Their own lives have typically been ones of suffering and misery, of pain and torture both mental and physical. If the deities were truly real, they reason, they would never have been subject to such cruelty. The narrative of a fair and just deity is clearly a lie, so why bother to believe at all, to worship a cruel and unjust force? Typhoon is the only dragon within the Clan of Second Chances to have ties to the deities of Sornieth - born under a storm omen and possessed of the ability to control the weather, she served as a priestess of the Stormcaller. However, she strove to become an object of worship in her own right. Though ultimately unsuccessful, such blasphemy proves that she is no devotee of the divine. The Unrepentant Clan has a relationship with the divine that is tentative at best, none being remotely worthy of (or remotely interested in) visitation by a deity. In other clans, a dragon might be scorned for such an attitude, for such a lack of faith and respect. For the Unrepentant dragons, however, this is very much the norm. Atheism, anyone?

Exhausted and severely depressed.
8. May 2017. Do you have any haunted dragons or places in your lair? What is their story?
Well, it's not in the lair, but there's the Foxfire Catacombs and The Boneyard. In the Catacombs you can sometimes see a pale shape darting around corners, and groans and cries are occasionally heard deep within the labyrinthine caverns. As for the Boneyard, its name is that for a reason. No one is allowed in there alone.
9. May 2017. How are dresses seen in your clan? Who makes them? Are they available for all, or only the rich/worthy? How are "naked" dragons viewed?
Clothes in general are relatively easy to acquire. They're gotten either from the local merchants/clothes makers, the Marketplace, or the Auction House. The quality, make, and maker are what decides the price, so it depends on the dragon's personal wealth as to what they wear. Clothes aren't necessary, but most of the clan wears them because most of them are vain and like to adorn themselves or they just like pretty things.
10. May 2017. Do you usually use gems? What are gems and treasure in your lore? What is the difference between them? Do you have a banker in your clan? What is their job? Can dragons have their own share of either currency?
It depends on what I want to get and the amount I currently have! Onto the lore part of the questions.... The main difference is the worth due to the materials, I suppose?? I think of gems as somewhat like abnormally large diamonds/other precious stones, and treasure as metallic coins that are made of a mix of gold and other metals. So due to treasure not being pure gold, it's worth less than a gem. And yes, there's a sort of banker for the clan! She just deals with the funds that belong to the hoard/vault though, and her job is more 'treasurer' than anything. Most other clan members have their own little stashes of money that they get through various means. Some donate a little to the main fund, and if they really need it, they can take a little from the main fund as long as they pay it back eventually.
11. May 2017. What is the way of cleaning oneself in your clan? How often does a dragon need to be cleaned? How is the lair kept clean (if in any way)? How important is cleanliness?
There's a river not too far from the lair that empties into the Sea! Every so often there are 'wash days' where the entire clan travels over to the river to clean off and (if needed) do laundry. Most everyone cleans themselves with magic and such every day, but after a while you just need a good scrub with water (and some soap-like stuff that's okay for any wildlife to be in contact with). As for the lair, only the main parts that belong to everyone are required to be cleaned, and these areas are cleaned up at the end of the day by whoever the mess(es) belong to. Personal areas can be as messy as the occupant likes as long as it isn't hazardous in some way or another (ex: rotten food or flammable garbage). In all, cleanliness is definitely valued but everyone's their own [s]person[/s] [s]dragon[/s] creature.
12. May 2017. What is something that's considered inappropriate in your clan? Is it a "flight-thing"? Is it inappropriate because of a trauma of the elders, that made it a weird custom being banned?
Baring one's teeth is generally frowned upon as an aggressive gesture, even if it's in a grin. Most of the clan smiles with closed mouths because of this, and outsiders are quickly told of this possible faux pas so they don't end up in a fight because of a misunderstanding.
13. May 2017. Can deities visit dragons? How are they interpreted in your lore? Do you have dragons who are closer to one, or all deities than others? What makes them special?
Well, in theory yes. No one has been visited by one so far though (well, as far as they know). In general, the deities are considered somewhat benevolent but alien beings who may take as much as they give. Their morals are unknown and their though processes may just drive a lesser being to madness. (Basically they're reasonable and relatively nice (though 'nice' is different for each) but Shade have mercy if you somehow gain their ire.) Also it's thought that they can take on mortal forms to visit their subjects without the little mortals knowing. There might be something off about the visiting deity, though; something that you just can't put your claw on.... As for the last two questions, there's one dragon in the clan that possibly has a connection to the Shadowbinder! The leader, Anathema, is particularly attuned to Shadow magic and has her lifeforce tied to a creature made purely out of shadows. The two are literally two halves of a whole, and can become a single, eldritch horror-esque being if they wish (though it takes a lot out of them). The majority of the clan believe that she's somehow connected to their patron deity, whether simply blessed or a half-blood child. No one- not even Anathema herself- knows why she is like she is, though. All they have are rumors and theories.

Each god interacts with their lords differently. Yes in general the only way to have normaly a one on one conversation of a god is if you are exulted and only working for him but there are other ways that they provide to the "commoners".

Blessings come in vaereus fourms, say for example Stormcatcher's blesses normaly come unknowtest to the normal eye as he bless faster productivity. For example; say you are researching a topic that would in some small or lrage way benifit his cause. You are flipping through tombs but cant find the right book. If you are in his domain he could "soft" brain wash you, and lead your body to the right book, but from your POV you just diside to take "a diffrent approch" to the solution. It's like seeing a child trying to do a task by themselves, they almost got it, but you step in for a breef second to corect one missstep they are doing and they're able to continue working. And frankly they even forgot or didn't even know you helped in the first place.
Now translate that to the other gods, and thats how i imagen how their blessings work.

Another way is by directly interacting with the masses at large is them doing their own thing.

Lightweaver is visabol to only dragons who fly in over seas and hell would have a spot of tea with them if they stay flying but the second they land or look behind them as they fly past her shes gone like a ghost.

Arcanist warps all over his tower
odds are looking for that scroll he placed down yesterday but cant find it.
and odds are a lot of dragons are offten trying to be the one to be reconized as "the one who found arcanists lost book this week" but its always
always, the atheist scholar dragon, or a child hatchling who dosn't understand the full grasp of whom they're helping, who finds whatever arcanists lost. Arcanist warps by them, takes the book, pats them on the head, and limitedly warps back to work.
But even if he's just warping around, anyone viseting the tower would most likely see the dude going thorugh the lybrary he keeps, and it wouldnt be shocking if arcanist is suddenly right next to them, the size of a bat, just to crawl into the back of a long shelf to grab a glass ball or something he needs for an experiment that he dropped and you see the god there as your pulling back a book to read. imagine that scare.

Stormcatcher calls dragons by their dragon IDs when shouting orders to a perticular dragon, and refurse to clans as their clan ID thats found on our profile page YES I WORKED IN THOSE IDS SOMEHOW
AND YES STORMCATCHER KNOWS EVER, SINGLE, DRAGON ID, IN THE WORLD
HES A GOD AFTER ALL
. Overall out of all dragons gods he kinda works with his flight the most? I mean he dose yell at everyone to stay on topic and the closer you get to the spire the more youd hear him. What you thought was just constent echoing thunder from afar turned out to be his voice up close. Don't be surprize if he starts randomly yelling at you to move because your holding up a line or something. I'm looking at you, Trusty Wing.

Earthshaker can go to a size thats huge enough where you didnt relize you were standing right underneath him when hes lonly and wehnever the dragons do figgure out hes in a massive size they go and climb up him camping out on his back, both exulted and commer dragons alike. And thats how they keep in touch with their ancestors.
Can deities visit dragons? How are they interpreted in your lore? Do you have dragons who are closer to one, or all deities than others? Ragnarok calls herself a priestess and holds ceremonies said to call upon the Plaguebringer's power and knowledge. She knows they exist and has openly explained that her loyalty lies not in the goddess herself, but in the concept of Plague, the instinctual push to survive and push oneself to the limit. Mivida claims to be some sort of oracle, who both the Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer speak through, due to the fact that she was originally from Nature territory but ventured to Plague at a young age. She also casts spells to apparently communicate with them. We aren't all loyal and certainly have not dedicated ourselves to any of the gods. We do not fear them, and some of us don't even believe they're out there because actually meeting a god is an occurrence that is heavily associated with legends and is likely do be scrutinized by the more skeptical of us.

Their power is just too great for mortals, unless that mortal has been highly honored from their clan and deemed worthy. But that's when exalting comes into play to avoid any problems if a deity were to visit the clan itself. That being said, deities can send signs and signals to dragons and even speak to them in dreams! Prayer is, in some ways, kind of like visiting with a deity without actually seeing them.

If we're talking about the physical visit then no. It would be really... way too legendary. The dragon possibly couldn't get rest from others.
If we're talking mentally or about dream visits. It's possible though unlikely. Personally I don't see why a single dragon would be so important. But, hey, who knows. So far no one has told anyone that they've been visited by a deity.
If they would tell such things, it would be viewed rather skeptically.
Though I would say dragons can still get visions, but without the deity being present. I guess it's just magical influence. ... Oh, speaking of visions. I would imagine that being like instinct to animals. And those who don't see visions are less attached to the magical. Sort of like humans are less attached to nature nowadays.

Neon.png You start with an impossible goal: defeating the unbeatable enemy. And then you do whatever you gotta do to achieve it! Because even you can't know how much potential you have until you push yourself past your limits. THAT'S how you make yourself not just stronger... but stronger than you ever imagined you could be!
