An all-female pearlcatcher unit. Devised in order to protect and secure the safety of the civilians within these walls. Each is to hunt down the monster that produces such skulls before becoming an official part of the unit- a sign of their strength, speed, and grace. To harvest their skull and wear it atop your head is to be a Serein.
The unit's trainees can only graduate once every moon, as that is when the beasts that hold the skulls come out from hibernation.
