The first primal eye to hatch in my lair, from the second nest I ever hatched. I no longer have her parents, but one of her sisters is still with us. Not much has changed with her in the 3 years we've been here, her outfit and character stuck pretty fast. She's Hawkmoth's frivolous mother, vain about her fortunate good looks and a lover of pretty things. She's also a chonker of a fae, the kind of dragon they created the good eater award for [item=good eater award]

Tiraiah here is my favorite firstborn: [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/70157658][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/701577/70157658_350.png[/img][/url][/center] She was born in a one-egg nest, the first of her parents [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/54571829]Solektra[/url] (Lady of the Earth Court of the fey) and [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/68104815]Ekzeri[/url] (her consort). So, already a pretty important nest to me, but the impetus for putting the pair together at all was the release of obelisks (and me turning Solektra into one). Between an obelisk and a nocturne, I had a pretty good chance at obelisk - and a friend even gave me a boon so I could get her immediately! I changed her into a guardian to wear that accent, but kept the contrariness as part of her character.

And when I got Psalms, I got him just because I thought he was super pretty and I absolutely love Contour. Best gene. I know you can’t really see it on him, but I know it’s there. And that’s what matters. So here he is. There’s not really a special story for this guy. I have a handful of ringing dragons, though, and he does hang out with them - the arguably most-important of which we’ll meet in June, I hope. He writes original songs for her to sing. Which isn’t to say he’s a bad singer - he’s just definitely not the best. He might not even be great. He’s just good. As in, it’s not painful to listen to. Which is good, because he sings all the time. He has to try out his rhymes and rhythms, you know? Those don’t just come out of his head fully formed and perfect. Though, sometimes they do. To be fair, sometimes they do. Show me a [b]Poet[/b]! They write rhyming verse, or songs, or really anything along those lines. Maybe they’re a philosopher that has a haiku hobby. I have warrior-poet Valor! I'd originally named him Vanguard, but a few years later he and his bestie [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/244915]Glory[/url] (originally Lady, then briefly Crown) went through a little reinvention to help portray them more as counterparts and equals. ([s]also I was starting to accumulate Destiny fandragons and I didn't want him mistaken for one[/s]) [center] [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/645450][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/6455/645450_350.png[/img][/url][/center] I haven't done much with the poetry thing in-lore, but he just seems like a contemplative guy trying to process a violent existence. Maybe he likes to hang out with the philosophers.

It was a bit close on whether I was keeping them at first, but here we are. I’ve pretty much had Abbey in this same outfit since this skin came out. She just used to be wearing the purple stuff. No green. But, I dunno. I like the green. Gives it a little pop. I’m very happy with this outfit. Abbey and her brother were the first hatchlings I kept after switching my lair concept over to the nomadic monster hunters that I have now - so they grew up in the shadow of fighting with everything that anyone would pay them for. Abbey and Merle were fast and they didn’t learn how to hold back. Well, Abbey didn’t. Merle probably picked it up somewhere. I was certainly inspired by the f Mirror pose for this one for sure. And let me tell you… I have no idea in the world why I would look at this and be like, “I bet there’s a good dragon in there somewhere.” I mean, I did originally get her for the lore connection with her parents, who are leviathans or something like this - to match with Tohil’s story. I apparently got away from that, and I guarantee you it’s because of this skin. Because look at this skin. I don’t know if I’m just crazy or what, but I love the way this dragon looks. She’s one of my top favorites. The Flecks and the dino wing piece and the bits of pink from the blooming treads. I just think she’s perfect. She couldn’t be better. I think this was actually a skin I got tired of grinding for and I just wanted to have this dragon be real so I went and bought it. I’m not going to tell you how much I bought it for because I’m pretty sure it was too much. But that’s fine. I wanted her to look amazing immediately.
