If I were a specimen in a museum, the description would be:

A densely packed aggregate of fossilized ritual items dating back to the end of the Second Age, this specimen is believed to contain the remains of an ape-like creature, possibly an ancestor of today's arboreal manticore species. It is yet to be determined if the collection of items belong to the creature, if the creature was part of that collection, or simply a pest trapped in a storage area during the Cataclysm.
