Sorry I took a few days getting back to you!
I have only done the one custom before, so don't worry, I am still getting the hang of it too :3
I'll be delighted to see a sketch of what you want and I try to include the commisioner as much as I possibly can by sending progress when I get big steps done and asking for opinions, when I'm unsure of something. The last one I did, I needed to resubmit it a few times due to the clarity of the original lineart, so I kept updating my client regarding that, for example.

I don't have the biggest experience with armor, but I am more than willing to give it a shot :D
