This is by far the worst weather your guide has barreled towards, yet they seem ecstatic as they throw their hands into the air, whooping as thunder blinds the narrow path. "This is it, come on!" They yell, half of the sentence lost to a sharp gust that pins them to the wall. The energy, however, is plain to see. The final steps up to the mesa's table are an exercise in avoiding an unstoppable force. The wind threatens to blow you back down whence you came. The thunder strikes not even a hundred feet away. Yet here, you see the storm in full; sheets of rain whirling almost parallel to the ground, lightning exposing the billowing borders of storm cells, sharp funnels of tornados seeking to make purchase on the uneven terrain.
