you know how piebald/paint is white+ another color, I want a gene that is black with one accent colors, maybe a gene colors the head and tail black and it fades into some other color

I want Banescales and Gaolers to have Starmap and Constellation as genes!

Okay, so what about this:

Runes is like, the best gene, right? So, what if we had rune-y primary? (And possibly secondary).

I'm thinking a swirl, sort of, and then characters like runes. So, sort of a runes/iridescent/swirly-type gene.

I would call it mystic? Or maybe magic? ethereal? No idea, really.
