I agree completely with this. I don't see any reason to replace the familiar space entirely, and this way every dragon has the option to have both.

MAJOR support. Some of my paired dragons are in different tabs for lore reasons, and I'd LOVE to have them linked together like this so they can be viewed "together."

I think this is really cute! For me you would still have to be able to put a familiar + a mate, but maybe have the option to choose which one to display beside the dragon

eh. I don't love how that looks, but maybe there could be a third tab where the gene/colours and coli tabs are where we could put relations to other dragons

I agree with the thought of having both a familiar and a dragon, and I love the original idea so much. Perhaps we could be able to cycle between whether there's a familiar or a dragon shown?
But at the same time, it seems more like FR to only let you have one or the other :P
