Everyone knows how scientists love to play with genetic mutations, especially the mad scientists. Well now you're stuck being the guinea pig for an eperiment called the 313GenMut. The lab people inject your body with genetic materials to make you half human and half animal, a hybrid shifter. However when the evil genius, instucted by their lab head, tried to brain wash you and control your every movement something went wrong. You woke up. The animal now surging through your veins fights to get loose, forcing your first change, and you fight your way out of those dreaded labs, taking refuge in a giant sycamore forest about 20 miles south.
The lab head, now infuriated by the giant mistake, calls upon teams of hunters and "pets" --the shifters who chose to stay-- to seek out the runaways, capture them, and force them back over to the labs for more testing.
