This isn’t the case since he is actually a loyal and friendly person once people get to know him better. He also tends to be rather hot-blooded which can end up lending him into a bit of trouble. When he feels like he is in danger, he will actually hiss as a way to scare off the potential threat.

He was also most likely royalty among the halfbloods before he became a vampire’s pet.
