"That's easy to fix, I'll patch that up after we get this moved." Butch said as he started walking towards the builders hut. The hut wasn't that far away, when they got there he tossed the stump on the ground and it landed with a thump.

A little goat came up to Caleb, he bleated and jumped up and down, Jasper had fallen asleep in a tree, he was having a nightmare about everyone in the glade hating him, just because he was a little strange, the baby goat tried to jump into the hammock and snuggle Caleb.

Avery dusted his hands off, he had a splinter, the med-jack winced and pulled out it.

Ophelia groaned as she rolled out of her hammock. Her leg had been killing her that day so she hadn’t yet gotten up. Quietly, she slipped on her brace, wobbling as she stood, gaining balance. Slowly, she walked out of the hut. As a Med-Jack she knew it wasn’t good to put so much force on her leg after just getting up from a long rest, so she took it easy for a while.

Gene and the others carried the body into the middle of the Glade, with Gene directing them to dump it near the med-jacks’s tent. If anyone they were the most knowledgeable about the sinews that made up flesh and bone, and could tell them the most currently.

Salem groaned a bit, waking from his long... long night. He had stayed up a bit too late than usual, and obviously, his sleep schedule had been thrown out the window that morning. He sat up in his hammock, stretching. He couldn't see outside the hut he was in, but the light coming in told him he wasn't super late. Maybe he got like an hour or two of extra sleep. It was fine, He didn't know if anyone else was really worried about it, since they hadn't come in and gotten him up. Unless something important happened today. At the though, he jumped up out of the hammock, his body a bit sore, but he could get over it. He quickly went outside, flinching a bit when the sun hit his eyes. It was much brighter outside the tent than inside the tent.

He looked around, not really seeing anyone around. So his suspicion was right, something important must've happened. He looked around a bit more noticing the lift was up, and his brow furrowed, he jogged to it, noticing most of it was empty, so he's assumed that the others had gotten the supplies. He huffed, "You guys didn't even wake me up for the lift?!" He shouted out, not in any particular direction. He stood there staring at the leftover supplies, which was mainly just a bunch of wood.

Butch was about to go grab what he needed to fix the roof when a quick glance at the med tent switched up his priorities. “What the hell is that?” He thought out loud as he grabbed the machete out of the stump. He ran over to the griever and the people carrying it, assuming that Avery would follow. A bunch of other gladers were also gathered nearby, staring at the corpses in fear and awe.
“This thing better be dead“ He said, trying not to voice how bad of an idea it was to bring one of these into the glade. Butch grabbed one of the metallic legs to help the runners move it. (Unless it’s already been dumped)

“Your conviction in my judgement is very helpful, Butch!” Gene said, allowing a hint of playful sarcasm in his voice. However; he did appreciate the help of the young man helping set it down in the grass, the sheet under it moist with the dew of the morning.
The Keeper dusted off his hands by swiping them together, looking around for some med-jacks.
The stench was suffocating.
He looked down at the corpse, hatred glinting in his eyes for a second. Which wasn’t completely unwarranted. Though he had refused to share details, everyone knew what the damage Grievers had done to him, both physically and mentally. Scars were easy to see, but the pain of losing more than a dozen Runners, his closest friends, partners..that was a real reason to hate.

Avery got ready to walk over when he saw Ophelia, he sighed and walked over to her, "Morning." he greeted her with a smile.

Jasper woke up with a start, he grabbed the shepherd's crook one of the others had made for him, mostly he used it to whoop the other's butts but....ya know. its good for herding too. He sat down under the tree and watched the goats, he had to make sure they didn't run off, most of the goats they used for food.

Salem did a circle, finally noticing the group in the middle of the glade. He squinted in their direction, wondering why they were all so close together, and realized they were carrying something. Something big. He grew a bit nervous and began to run over, not as fast as he could, hesitating even going to them. They were heading to the Med-Jack's tent, which worried him a bit more. Did a reaper get someone again? He picked a speed and finally reached the group. By then, they had dropped it and he reached the small group, it was a griever. A dead griever. The stench was horrible, nothing but death hit him as he got close enough to hear the others talking.

"What happened?" He asked as he slowed to a stop, a bit further back from the others. His brow was furrowed in obvious dislike. The grievers had been such a bit threat to them for as long as he was here. It was unsettling to be this close to one, even if it was dead. The feeling in his gut he got at staring at it made him want to run as far as he could from it.

Jasper sighed, he felt like an idiot for storming off like that....so he stood up and started to walk back, he whistled and the goats followed him, the way Jasper treated the goats was with kindness, was that the reason that tasted so darn good? probably. He shut the goats into their pen and narrowed his eyes at whatever the others were carrying, Jasper walked over, leaning the shepherds crook on a tree.
