@quailheart
Sing's ears perked forward and then pinned back as the fae shouted and the pair argued a bit. His tail slowly slinked around to lay a small stone in front of them and push one of the smaller hammers within reach. "Yes, little sister, I can hear you," he said, interrupting the end of their tiff. "Even without the yelling. The game is simple, break the rock and see what's inside. But the meaning of your prize can be much deeper." He spreads his forepaws with a little mystical talon waggling and some sarcastic brow arches.
@maryamshrine
(Roll: 99! What is it with you people and your luck today? :P)
The rock shattered in another burst of light and a fluffy white and green chittering mass came tumbling out. After some struggling from the cloth, feather, fur, and flower bundle the sprite wearing the cape righted itself and looked back at the Coatl with bewilderment.
"Luxury and loyalty," Sing chuckled, "You find yourself blessed, brother!"
@Sasutin
"Definitely, brother." Singmolii gives him a brisk nod and places the hammer and stone in front of him.
@FlyingSquirrely
"Coming right up, little sister!" he said, trying his best to chirp back but coming out more a baritone. He was getting into the swing of the normal crazy that was his yearly game, and getting a touch silly for such a big stoic warrior. The stone and hammer were set in front of her after a few moments of tail travel.
@Eialyne
Sing glanced back to spot the one in question and quickly scooped it to deliver it to the Guardian, making sure to slide a hammer across the bench to him in the same motion. "Good strength to you, brother."
@Talicinx
(Roll: 20)
The strike was true and the break clean, but a simple strip of well worn leather was all that flopped out.
"Mmmmm," he sighed as he peered down on the prize. "Useful, at least."
@Dreu
Sing nodded cheerfully and tail-snatched a stone to toss it in his coils with a grin. "As you say, brother." Instead of handing him the stone, he slung it from his tail with decent accuracy toward the Snapper's jaws.
@paintminion
((Ahh, sorry! I usually like to give people the chance to describe their efforts if they don't provide it to begin with. This takes care of it!))
The swing must have been meant to be, despite the Guardian's inexperience...
(Roll: 80)
The stone exploded out on one side and from the flash of light pranced a blue gemed Vulstal with a crown of purple flowers on her head.
"Very nice! The Earth rewards delicate strength with more!"
@Cynictis
Sing follows the Spiral's movements with his eyes but doesn't flinch. When he catches sight of Atropos he smiles faintly and nods understandingly, pushing the necessary materials into a clear space near her.
@Merchent
While the Imperial had seen many things in his life, he hadn't yet seen such a... half-there Snapper was the best term he could think of. His expression wasn't openly gawking, but the appearance did give him significant enough pause to be noticeable before he moved again like nothing was wrong. "Sure thing, brother." A stone and hammer were clunked down before him.
@WatersKnight
He quickly swiped a space clean with a paw for the Guardian and immediately filled it with rock and hammer. "Good strength to you, sister."
@Canisa
Sing watched out of the corner of his eye, but on the sixth strike turned and started to say something until the rock finally flew open and... the sealing crystal lay dormant while the Runemaster stuck his nose to it in his eagerness. "Uh, you may wa-" The crystal lanced out a brilliant shaft of light and a chuffing fox-rat with a precariously perched fez on his head bounded out onto the Spiral's neck.
(Roll: ALL THE 100s!)
@Ayle
(Roll: 61)
Sing stayed silent but watched the mirror with a smile as she enthusiastically dived in without remorse - mainly out of concern that she didn't hurt herself flying into the unknown. The thing that glittered inside was a freshly chiseled and enameled tablet, wrapped carefully in a soft ivory colored leather garment.
"A purpose to spend your energy on, and the time to do it," he chuckled in comment.
@Thipnip
Singmolii profered the trappings of the game and nodded. "Anyway you'd like to go it is welcome."
@Kickback
(( :D ))
Sing nodded to them both and laid out a pair of stones and hammers. "Don't hurt yourselves," he rumbled off hand.
@aprilraven
Sing chuckled and waved a hand toward the Coatl's enterprising grasp. "Of course, brother, you've already taken the lead!"
@stickytoffee
The Imperial had a claw ready to stop any hammers if the Fae hadn't stopped, but he relaxed and straightened up once she righted her senses on her own. "Yes, little sister, you certainly may." He looked back at his rapidly dwindling rock pile and turned instead to craft a whole new rock for her; quick to keep the prize out of sight. The little stone and dainty hammer were placed where she rested and he nodded toward her.
@Melisma
Sing took a moment to size her up, a fighter himself, then grinned wickedly at his fellow Imp. "Hardest one?" He turned fully this time and stuck head and claws into his pile rather than trusting his tail to swipe on off the top. He surfaced with what looked like a real stone, not some hastily constructed imitation with Earthen magic, but something possibly metamorphic mined directly from the ground and... somehow a prize was inserted inside? The was no seam and no obvious drill marks. A smaller breed may even think of it as a boulder, though it was just a decent sized rock from the perspective of one their size.
"We keep a special stock around for your kind, sister," he said, and placed the massive thing before her with a reverberating thud.
@Foxbrow
With all the action, Sing lost sight of the Faes and their sudden competition.
(Crimsang's Roll: 11)
(Drowsang's Roll: 65)
A few pebbles and some blue quartz crumbled out of one brother's stone, just as a pair of black goggles chased with silver flopped out of the other.
@Severina
(Roll: 11)
The stone must have been structured a little oddly and it only cracked with a little sliver shooting out the side while it stayed firmly 90% whole. With a polite cough, Sing leaned forward and tapped the bench with a claw. The stone hopped up as if on command and fell open in clean halves while some sturdy bamboo decompressed from the magic storage to shoot up like hatchling's paper eel pranks.
@Rarmeowz
Sing reguarded the other drake in return and nodded. "In a way, yes. Take your chances?" He laid a stone and hammer near him.
@Drav
(Roll: 75)
As he chipped away a large chunk flew out on a spear of light followed by a groping pink tentacle that lashed out and suckered onto Zapshadow's finger for a moment. It quickly released and then squealched its compressible body out of the whole all on its own to crawl toward the Imperial and fix him with a critical gaze.
"A mind to match your own, eh?" Sing laughed.
@clanguardian
Sing nearly beamed at the tundra when the compliment was given and quickly placed the chosen stone and a quality hammer before her. "Thank you, sister. Good strength to you!"
@whamm
(Roll: 61)
A piece of bone slid out. Sing poked his head over with a bit of interest and took away the used pieces of rock. The birdskull and shiny plumage tumbled out all the way.
"Something to complete the set, hmm?"
((HNNNNNNNN okay, caught up MAYBE D: Going to bed, keep posting and I'll see you all in the morning!))
