this thread is a casual RP giveaway event based on my lineage project Sunset's Legacy! while the theme is a family reunion for the members of the legacy, all are welcome to participate! that includes non-lineage dragons, too - feel free to bring along your descendants' mates, friends, familiars, offspring, or anyone else who wants to be a +1 to the event!
today is set aside to allow guests to arrive, make introductions, meet up with family for the first time in many months, and familiarize themselves with their surroundings! tomorrow will mark the first event, and only users who make their introductions in this thread will be pinged for tomorrow and future events.

As the sun rises, a lone Imperial can be seen in the sky above her coastal home. She dances in the morning mist, twisting her long body in the gentle breeze. It's a special day today, and her wish is about to come true. It's hard to sit still when you have so much to look forward to!
Two years ago, Sunset wished for all her descendants and their families to join her in their first-ever family reunion, and her family and clanmates all came together to make it possible. The following year on Sunset’s birthday, even more dragons attended a second family reunion - and with all the preparation and excitement brewing since last October, this year’s event promises to be truly remarkable!
When Sunbeam Grotto comes into view, it’s instantly recognizable as the party destination of the year! The festivities began at sunrise, and were already in full swing by breakfast. Music floats down from the clifftops to fill the air and bounce off the calm water, radiating out to welcome dragons flying in. Delicious smells waft from different sites on the beach as the clan’s chefs cook up all sorts of drinkable delicacies and festive foods for the guests to enjoy. All the descendants who flew in early to help have finally kicked back to celebrate their hard work coming to fruition!
While her descendants mill about the sea, sky, and sand, Sunset lounges on a flat rock on the beach. With the way she’s a head above the rest of the dragons crowding the shore, and with a sizeable hoard of gifts already piling up beside her, she looks like royalty perched upon a throne. The sun glitters on her gold jewelry as she waves across the beach to the new arrivals, before turning to chat with Mudpuppy at her side.
Today there are no specific activities scheduled, as guests will be arriving all throughout the day - we wouldn’t want anyone to miss out! Instead, dragons are free to enjoy the food and music while they catch up with Sunset and her family in Sunbeam Grotto! There will be ample time to settle in wherever the guests plan to camp out for the duration of the event before the activities begin tomorrow.
However...since the air is filled with energy and excitement, there may be some guests who are ready to begin activities right away! Cobalt has devised a challenge that will run throughout the duration of the reunion. The hunt will send dragons to regions near and far to collect a checklist of items.

Today, as well as throughout the rest of reunion, visitors will be free to visit anywhere in Sunbeam Grotto that piques their interest. Vendors will be selling food, drink, accessories, Guests are welcome to share what kept them busy in between or instead of the scheduled events!
