Echo and Seafoam settle in the dark, silently watching the fireworks, the mist collecting near their feet, chilling them. Echo rests his tail on Seafoam's, and she smiles as they continue watch the beautifully displayed fireworks.

Xanaver applauds as the fireworks display finishes and flies over to his grandmother x3(?) Sunset and hugs her gently as well as his grandfather x3(?) Mudpuppy. He lets them know that he vows to make them proud and continue the legacy built. he exchanges information regarding the clan he is in and thanks the chefs for the gift basket home. He is sad to leave, but has plan to return for the next reunion and to visit as often as he can to see his family.
With a heavy heart, he flies off to his clan in order to help with preparations for the Riot of Rot festival tomorrow.

On the final day, when everything came to an end and all of them were waiting for the grand finale, Dewshine and his siblings got to know some other hatchlings, Xenia, Minnow, the little pirate band aka the donut-hungry birds. They [i]really[/i] did engage in a game called "kingdom fight" from Dewshine. They built castles in the sand on the beach and tried to bombard the castles of their "enemies" with water so they'd break. It was a very fun game and everyone was compeltely soaked afterwards. They named Xenia's castle the best one <3 (maybe it was the only one still standing ...)
the older dragons relaxed on this last day, after they had completely stuffed themselves on the great feast the day before. All those scents and tastes, it was magical! Tabor still recalls some of it in his mind, too stuffed to move even the day after. Maybe he could ask for recipies, there sure would be someone in his family at home who could cook. After the breathtaking fireworks dimmed out, the party began to dissolve. Tabor and Tangerine decided to depart on the morrow, as the hatchlings were too tired to fly today. However, on the end of this happy family gathering wated a surprise for them: Daskolos, Dewshines brother, announced to them that he would go and see the world! He saw and experienced so many things in Sunbeam Grotto that he longed for more. So it was time to say goodbye not only to their distant relatives, but one of their own. Dewshine and Daskolos promised to write letters and to stay in touch. "We see each other next year at Sunsets party, yes?"

The trio watched the show from the ground as Baozhai didn't know how to fly and Tangerine (being a snapper) was incapable of flight. Forsaken and Baozhai merely watched in silence whist Tangerine contemplated things.
All of Baozhai's life she and Lettuce had been Baozhai's family and then suddenly Baozhai had entire generations of family members. Was it even right for her to be here? This was Baozhai's family not her's. Could she still call herself Baozhai's family?

Pulling a bundle of colorful preserved flowers out of a satchel he spoke once more, “When I found a new clan, I started a garden there. These are some of the first flowers I grew, and I want you to have them.” He pressed the bundle into her talons, and gave her a quick hug before leaving to join his clanmates. After a few more moments they all launched themselves into the sky, waving frantically as they ascended higher, and higher in the air. Once they were high enough they caught the warm air currents and soared back to their clan.

reilybug As Baozhai proudly parades around, saying her own goodbyes, many of the dragons she meets speak to her without paying any mind to Tangerine standing beside her, which only adds to the Snapper's worries. But...just as many or even more make an effort to address her, even if they don't know or recall her name. It's not much, but it's enough to assuage Tangerine for a time. This may be Baozhai's family, but she's her family too, just as much if not more so. This is made even more evident when Baozhai starts to waver, and it's Tangerine who scoops her up and allows the little one to sleep on her back as she and Forsaken prepare for their journey home. Regardless of the bittersweet feelings, all three of them will remember this week for many years to come!

"I've enjoyed the reunion a lot more than I thought. I didn't think much of it when my mother mentioned it to me originally, but I can say that I was presently surprised." Orpheus looks down at his claws, an unconscious grin spread across face. "I only really attended one event other than the feast, but it was still a lot of fun. I feel like you can enjoy the reunion even without the events. Hmmm?" Orpheus took a sip of the matcha tea Aen had prepared for him and gnawed on the ant clusters on his plate.

Reverie's eyes widened in awe as Toymaker showed off the small hyena toy. Reverie immediately became curious to learn more.
"What purpose will it serve when it's alive? What other kinds of inventions have you made? Please tell me more!", Reverie said fervently.
"Oh, wait one second." She suddenly pulled out a mysterious pen and scroll from under her silk scarf and unraveled it to write. "Now, go on." Reverie was probably putting Toymaker on the spot, but she didn't realize that.

But maybe she isn't as distant as he thought. Seeing all these dragons come together from all across the world gave him home. It wouldn't be that hard to send a letter, would it? The courier dragons always had a way of getting things to their intended recipient. He should write. It wouldn't take long, and he might even hear back from her sometime...

perfectoranges Toadkeg’s mouth hung open in wonder as she watched the fireworks zoom and explode throughout the sky. She was happy her last day with her extended family had ended with such excitement.
“Thank you!” She whispered to Cottonwood and said a silent thank you to Sunset.

The group of dragons bid Sunset goodbye, and took off into the night sky after the fireworks show. They planned to fly all night to get home for Riot of Rot the next day. Misty personally thanked Sunset for giving her a home in Sunbeam Grotto until she found her place. The three hatchlings who are apparently grown up now, said goodbye to their new found friends, including Minnow (who I’m guessing they probably spent a lot of time playing with), and said they would find a way to play again. Patience and Koi gently called out to them, and once they had all gathered together at the predetermined rendezvous point, they left the Grotto, until the next reunion.
(I realize this sounds very out of order, but I typed it out watching the last few bands at my marching MPAs)
