“Long ago at the beginning of the clan, there were two warring clans, the Clan of Burning Storms and the Clan of-“
“Love, she’s heard this before. Also, they weren't warring.” The older female grins impishly at her mate.
He smiles down at the blue and green Bogsneak curled up in her cot, but shakes his head. “This isn’t for her benefit.”
The child looks puzzled. “Daddy who are you talking to then?”
He tilts his head towards where the shadowy figure sits, previously unnoticed in the noise of the storm outside, and you lean forward towards the light, so that the female and the child can see you. “You.”
The female dragon falls silent now.
“Well, that doesn’t matter anyways. That may be the beginning of the story, but it isn’t the beginning of our story. Ours starts a lot more recently…”
What do you get when you cross one dragon with another dragon and add in an indecisive newbie? a clan that immediately defects from fire and joins water, and a whole bunch of stories to be told of their journey from fire to water.
Hello! This is my lore thread, and in it you will be able to find one-shots (is it obvious that i read fanfiction? :D) ongoing stories and the bios of my dragons. this will forever be a work in progress, but below you can find some of my goals as I work through it.
goals for october/november
- work on this during nanowrimo every day
- update regularly
inspired by: @Jaspernoir, @Disillusionist, @perfectoranges's threads (1,2,3) and @FirozTaverbi 's grand biolocke challenge, which i will use as inspiration for who and what to write about.
