This whole thing had been crazy from the start... But he could worry about himself later. Fury and Bakura had the right ideas here: They needed to tend to the Bay and it's inhabitants first and foremost. "I'll be okay once this mess is behind us." Wiggling free from Baluras grip he made a quick call to Solaire who, thankfully, had been mostly untouched during this whole fiasco. With his help they'd have the sprinklers on and help on the way shortly. "Heads up on those sprinklers~! ETA a minute or two! Help is on the way Fury." Gliding down, he did his best to ignore the damage and settled down to wait for the med team.

Hello, Star Voyagers.
This is the end of the Global Event What should I expect now? Things will go back to 'normal' on the Station from this point onwards. Staff will return to their posts, and for the most part, we'll keep chugging on. Users may reference these events, ask questions, and continue to RP as they see fit but none of that is required. Are there any lasting effects from this sort of event? Yes, and no. The basic mechanics of this thread will never change. But users might be able to [s]alter[/s] move characters around, swap in new shops, and just generally terrorize the station with their choices. XD. Don't worry about getting into too much trouble though. I'll never actively 'punish' a user for RP-ing. Are all future events going to be like this? Probably not? As fun as this was, it's clear to me that I need to work out a better system for larger events such as this. I sadly had to skip over people to get the plot moving along, and that just left a bad taste in my mouth. I want people to be able to participate, but it's up to me to set a fair pace for everyone. Reward? Yes, everyone who participated in this event will get a reward. It lasted a bit longer than I was expecting so I kind of want to give the participants something for that. What this did was do two major things: (1) Reveal an invisible assailant. (2) fry every data scroll and data pad in the immediate area. The camera mentioned here wasn't actually looping. It was a clue that there were kelpies in the Cargo Bay. Also, the message here earlier on wasn't a hostile interception. If you read it closely and unscramble the last bit, it's actually a warning from your friendly neighborhood Golem. Because the Kelpies were around, even if the broadcast had gone through, no one would hear it. So they tried to send a message back through the comms while in distress. Weakness: Heat and light: Ironfrill and Sunny discovered the shadows weakness very early on which, frustratingly, made them very easy to defeat. While chasing Sunny was a sure fire way to get the group off the wildclaws tail, it also made the shadows far less effective than they should have been. Cover yourself! At several points we see our shadowy friends getting owned by light and heat..... And once by glitter. Had that glitter not gone off, things might have been very different. The other wildclaw was actually on route to intercept Fury & Sunny but had to retreat in order to replace the escort that got exposed. ~shakes fist~ Likewise, things might have gone very different if Ironfrill hadn't exposed Stardews' escort the second time around. Time was already ticking so they may have felt obligated to just sneak out with the Fae, giving Fury and the others maybe some time to interfere, or they may have even tried to bargain with the clan. Sensory issues? This was actually a recurring hint throughout the entire event. Halls would stretch on, sound would get distorted, things would just appear off... The fact that no one could actually hear other despite the station usually being able to carry noise very well... XD Sunny actually bypassed what was going to be a huge hint about this. I totally forgot they couldn't speak and just sat in that glass cage rubbing my hands together like.. "Oh, yes. We're going to have so much trouble talking in containment! This is the start" And then the whiteboard..... I facepalmed so hard. ;u; Uhh, this post is already super long so if you guys want more clarification on certain events and actions let me know. There was more i wanted to mention here but.....loooong.
This is the end of the Global Event

What should I expect now?
Things will go back to 'normal' on the Station from this point onwards. Staff will return to their posts, and for the most part, we'll keep chugging on. Users may reference these events, ask questions, and continue to RP as they see fit but none of that is required.

Are there any lasting effects from this sort of event?
Yes, and no. The basic mechanics of this thread will never change. But users might be able to alter move characters around, swap in new shops, and just generally terrorize the station with their choices.

Pick one of the following or you can choose to accept it's monetary equivalent.

Actions and Consequences.
Featured by popular demand~! Here is a brief rundown of the event and the choices that led to where you are all today. Some were expected, some were not.... You're all crazy. I'm not going to go over EVERYTHING but here are some fun ones for you guys

In no particular order:

Electric Shock
Fury lit up the Splicing Station with some serious electricity~! What this did was do two major things: (1) Reveal an invisible assailant. (2) fry every data scroll and data pad in the immediate area.
With nothing left to steal and their cover blown, our friend quickly booked it out of there instead of staying around. Great for Fury and the gang, but it left them with nothing to do but wait at the extraction point.

Communication
Fishy announcement, blocked attempts to hack into the intercom, funky cameras. All of these were hints that something was wrong. But there were some specific things that might have gone overlooked.

Weakness:
Heat and light: Ironfrill and Sunny discovered the shadows weakness very early on which, frustratingly, made them very easy to defeat.

~shakes fist~
Likewise, things might have gone very different if Ironfrill hadn't exposed Stardews' escort the second time around. Time was already ticking so they may have felt obligated to just sneak out with the Fae, giving Fury and the others maybe some time to interfere, or they may have even tried to bargain with the clan.

Sensory issues?
This was actually a recurring hint throughout the entire event. Halls would stretch on, sound would get distorted, things would just appear off... The fact that no one could actually hear other despite the station usually being able to carry noise very well... XD Sunny actually bypassed what was going to be a huge hint about this. I totally forgot they couldn't speak and just sat in that glass cage rubbing my hands together like.. "Oh, yes. We're going to have so much trouble talking in containment! This is the start" And then the whiteboard..... I facepalmed so hard. ;u;

Hello, Star Voyagers.
Dang Credit thank you! Can I get a Reaper Guise or Spectre Guise, whatever's isn't spoken for

OKAY BUT SUNNY!!! Sunny and that whiteboard saved us so much trouble! Incredible!

This was a lot of fun, and it reminded me that I really do miss rping lol

It was a lot of fun getting to meet and write with your characters, and I definitely hope we get to do something like this again. Fury considers you lot allies, and Rogue may or may not pop in on your data coms, no warning

A task given the construct seemed to become more animated, alive even as the sense he had done similar jobs many times over in his former life. He studied the contents of the contract closely before he was on his way to the last known location. The voyage took a week, the target seemed to be a very quick and mobile one after all. He disembarked onto a very green planet, his ice and cold so very out of place as he walked, searching for a hint of the Meadow Hopper. His search was not long, as he found it zipping along in chaotic patterns. While he watched, he gathered himself waiting. Waiting was something he was good at, which was good as the objective seemed content to dart to and fro ceaselessly. In an instant the task was complete, it had finally come into range and Nameless unleashed the full strength of his cold, stopping it in it's tracks. From there it was an easy task of bringing it back to the same place he had gotten the contract to begin with.

While he didn't like the fact that this construct had hurt his little scanner buddy, he couldn't exactly argue with results. "Congratulation, Hunter. Status Updated. Would you like me to put in an order for your reward?"

They went somewhere on-world for a while, took missions that didn't make them lose sleep at night, restocked on supplies, retooled a few gadgets. It was nice. When they returned, it was with more focus and a new sheen of paint. Fury had a few stops on board: dropped roughly 30 pounds of meatTM that may or may not have been a dragon or beast, and may or may not have been breathing at Neon to make sure the lil creep and his attendants were okay; a soft, mostly friendly hedgehog for the Warden who he still wasn't sure wouldn't feed them to their Fuiran; a beautiful hand-knitted scarf for Clemat, because Rogue insisted she was lovely, and a calculator for Solaire - because when Fury tried to be, he could be really bad at presents. When he dropped off at the Bounty Board, it was accompanied by two, burly escorts who were dragging a massively comfortable waiting couch, and an espresso machine. Parked both just to the side of Ria's work station, like a waiting area. "So what'd I miss?"
