He's glad they get a bit of a break today, no heavy lifting or cleaning. Easy peasy! Maybe he can spend the day crafting some trinkets or do a little painting! Keeping it simple. He still goes all out, not sure what inspired him to do so. He found some lovely Fallout Streak Pinions and made a long string of night-lights. He plans to hang it around a bunch of trees, it'll be beautiful at night! Like seeing a bunch of fireflies! He enjoys his time in the Ruins, it's a shame he will have to leave soon. But seeing how much it has changed fills him with pride! He feels different too, more confident in his capabilities.

Stunning even, when you just think of how it’s been on day one of arriving here. The weather plays its part too, and now that the area has been cleared not only the light of the sun reaches further parts of the village, but also allows a gentle breeze to move through the paths between the buildings now and then, which makes the warm air so much more pleasant. There’s busy insects buzzing and birdsong everywhere - but the dragons in the place are not busy at all. Nobody has started working yet it seems, instead, pairs or small groups of dragons stand or stroll around chatting, showing each other their findings and achievements of the week, some sit together in the sun, some tend to the flowers that have been planted yesterday. Most of these dragons surely already have a clan elsewhere, but … the scene right now feels so natural and the place so lived in! You hope the dragons settling here will appreciate the effort. And maybe … some of the previous inhabitants will find their way back here, even? As you ponder, the foliage nearby rustles and a Guardian comes forth. A [i]wet[/i] Guardian, covered in a few stray algae & lily pads, his beard dripping. Apparently he took a swim in the pond. Once he has the room he stretches forward with a deep content hum - then shakes his body like a Hainu after a bath! He sends droplets and some of the pond flora flying, startling some other dragons nearby. Someone else chuckles. Some dragons recognize he’s related to the rest of the family who guided the effort a little throughout the week and seem ready to hear of their task. But instead the Guardian swoons over how good his swim was and the weather is and that he’s looking forward to - [i]to the feast?![/i] [columns][font=arial][color=#931A6A][size=5]"What? No, no work anymore today. It’s the Greenskeeper Gathering! We did enough already don’t you think? Look at the place! Looking better than some of our home lairs probably, haha. Nothing left to do, but celebrate. The whole work, the end result - and the festival. I cooked some meals already and will whip up some more stuff once we all get together. Nobody shall go home hungry today - hey, if you want, bring me some favorite ingredients & I’ll make whatever you all want to eat. Might not taste like from your parents kitchen though so don’t get too nitpicky… You still have time to fancy up if ya wanna, bring foods or some games or some friends. Or … just relax. Her bag and staff were laying beside her, not in use for today. She looked out over all of the frolicking and chatting dragons with a wide smile on her face and was reminded once again why Greenskeeper Gathering was one of her favorite holidays. This level of peace, happiness, and celebration of the world around them could only be achieved in certain places. And these charming and refurbished ruins were one of them. Delta made a mental note to keep the map that she had received at the start of this effort; she was looking forward to going back here next year to see how much their work really paid off.

That's what Honeyheart is dishing up tonight. Sticky and sweet, its a fantastic addition to grilled foods and baked goods, but also a delicious treat on its own! He and Sweetbark have brought along their forever child today. This special little girl gums her pollen sucker and giggles at the tinkling bells being hung around the village by her mother and stinky. The archaeologist is admiring the results of all the hard work, and proudly stating that her rescued fossils would make an admirable addition to a little local museum, should the future inhabitants be so inclined. Indeed, surely a work of this magnitude deserves to be commemorated! [i]Thank you for this fun event! Being motivated to write something every day has really helped me flesh out a few dragons!

He grabbed a large Molted Scale off the stack at one end, and started moving down the line, piling on the goodies. While he didn't see any pears, he was pleased to see other tasty plants included, as well as a full variety of other food types, and not all the usual fare. Plus there was plenty of it! He knew he was probably overdoing it, but he was still feeling down about how badly his crafting had gone yesterday. He'd ended up throwing the end results away in embarrassment! Eating tended to make him feel better. He was looking to slink off into a quiet corner to indulge himself, when he was accosted by the other dragons from WindSky Weyr, all chattering cheerfully. They weren't about to let him go mope! This was a celebration! Well, he supposed, their good spirits would probably help lift his own too!

Its beautiful, and Dicentra is proud of her own small part, but she finds herself looking at Musa more than anything else. Fasciatia stated (loudly) that they were going back home to invite anyone they could to celebrate with them, and once they had gone, Dicentra found nerves creeping up on her. She clears her throat, causing Musa to tilt her head. "Um, so I've heard you can forsee where someone's choices will take them. Is that true?" "Yes. Sometimes it's not very clear, and I can only really glean something from a simple choice." She smiles. Dicentra doesn't have such an ego to think she was so important, but Musa smiles and Dicentra knows that was exactly what had happened. She ducks her head shyly and Musa nudges her. Her brothers and sister have brought their mates and some of their children and families. They all appreciate the beauty that has been revealed and honed. Dicentra shows them the parts she worked on, and she can [i]feel[/i] her parent's pride. She doesn't think she's ever felt happier and more fulfilled.

Riegan says to a dragon.[/center]He truly feels at home. The sun light, the breeze and the peaceful village reminds him of the meadows, just warmer with way more trees and foliage. He made sure to remember what this place looks like, so he can use it as inspiration when he gets back home. He's lonely. He didn't expect to feel lonely and missing home. He was the one who decided to go on a trip all by himself. He made small talk with a lot of dragons and thanked the main family who had let him stay here (in exchange for his help), but throughout the day he wishes he had a close companion with him. Someone to share the joy with. Pyrus offers to cook one of his favorite dishes, and he just knows eating it will make him even more homesick. So although it was a day to relax and celebrate, he spends it hovering around and offering water and other drinks to dragons. Reminding them to hydrate and chatting about their time here. Something to distract this feeling. He was in the middle of pouring wine for himself when two boars leaped out from some bushes nearby. He nearly spilled his drink, startled. They seemed quite tamed though and familiar. One was carrying a basket of apples, the other mushrooms. Then a dragon appears from the same bushes, covered in leaves. "RIEEEGAAAN" the Spiral yells and tackles the green Nocturne. Due to how small they are he barely moves, but Riegan is stunned all the same! "I'm sure if I add them to my reishi hot drink, I can take it to new heights! Maybe I should add some fish oil as well." "Not fish oil!" Riegan winces. “How about mushroom oil? Or no oil?! Never mind that, how did you know I was here?" "I didn't! I smelled food and sent the boars to check it out first! Beautiful place, no wonder you've been missing for a while. Everyone's worried." "Really?" He didn't mean to worry anyone. Time flew by so quickly and there was always something to do at the once-Ruins-now-Village. He did feel a warm and fuzzy feeling after hearing that the others did care, despite him being a nuisance at times. "You know how the leader gets when one of us is gone for too long." Reishi chastises. "Even I made sure to check in with someone. I was at the Trading Post, met with Gyongyver who was visiting a teahouse close by. She also brought the VeilTwins and they heard from Chang who is helping Miaoli look for Hsinchu who was last seen by Yunlin. Yunlin and his quadruplet siblings are telling everyone you got eaten by the Behemoth, but Iggy told them to-." "The Behemoth doesn't eat dragons. It’s a tree, not a gigantic, six-legged creature.“ Riegan scoffs. [i]Right?[/i] he ponders. "-and mom and the clan leaders are around here too, keeping an eye out while treasure chest hunting! We can bring them here later. I’m sure they'll be happy to see you and furious you've been taking a vacation and slacking off from your training." "I wasn't taking a vacation! I've been cleaning these ruins, helping it look nice!" "Ruins? Here? Suuure you did that... Now," they approached the area where the Feast is about to commence and Reishi takes Riegan's seat. "I'm famished! Let's eat!" "But you didn't do anything!!" Seeing Reishi's fancy new look does give him an idea. He saw some baubles and bells earlier today and Reishi is a good dancer. Perhaps after the feast he can bring his lute and they can perform for the crowd!
