Say you had 4 squares in the B column filled out, you need 1 more for the bingo so a bear for that BINGO will only cost you 10g. But say your first row is missing 2 spots, that's 20g for that row. You do it for each column, and each row, and the diagonals. If let's say I4 was missing, that blocks 2 BINGOs, that's 20g (1 for the column, 1 for the row)
Basically go down each column, count each incomplete space, now do the rows and count the spaces again, then the diagonals. You should even up with the number.
If you are not sure, just give the thread a poke and I'll tell you what's missing.
