i made this scry based on this image i found on google. i chose a snapper because of their squat shape, the fact that their horns resemble sea slug nubs, and the unique way that glimmer covers the back scales on them. scaly-foot snails don't have eyes, so i tried to represent that by coloring the dragon's eyes the same color as the shell.

[b]Comment (Optional): this is a recently discovered member of the cool family known as loricifera which is a big family of microanimals. this species has broken one of our previous standards for multicellular life in the fact that is can thrive without oxygen for its entire life, which is absolutely crazy. these boys have a big cup mouth which u see as the base and tentecles that they use to move foods into their humongous mouth. but still these guys dont have to breath so they r still super cool and are the only animals that dont have too. (they arent actually pink, its a dye used to see them. with the dye they do look like some sort of arcane creation so i wouldnt be surprised if it was the arcanists idea to have these guys floatin around our deoxygenated waters. A quick glance behind showed the other race participants to be far out back. Yes! For the first time in her life, she was going to win the challenge, get the prize and- A voice came from above.
“Hello!” Ferric laughed as he overtook her in a rush of water. She frowned, and extended her wings ever so slightly to catch more of the current. A burst of speed caught her, and she was about to overtake when a sudden flurry of hot water threw her up, disrupting her rhythm and throwing her off course. As she struggled to get out of the burning water and back into the race, a small creature floated past. She squinted at it, and tried to remember what animals Lilian had told her they might find during the race. Hot water... worm-like body... she grinned as she finally remembered. A Pompeii worm! Cool. She was disrupted from her silent thoughts when the rest of the racers swam past. Shaking her head clear of the thoughts, she dove back into the currents.
