A strong plant smell drifted on the breeze as Mipsy made her way to the flower patch. Ill omen, she thought, fearing what was around the next turn.
Trampled. Every last bud was destroyed, ripped off and left beside the crushed leaves of the twelve plants. Their long naked stems bled a milky white substance as they still reached for the sky. Mipsy carefully removed the stems and began removing the badly damaged leaves.
Even though she’d tried explaining when the other hatchlings asked ‘why’ she liked these flowers, they still destroyed them. They might not be popular, but why did there have to be a reason? Shouldn’t just liking them be enough?
Mipsy knew as long as the roots were undamaged the Cliff Lions would regrow eventually. She hoped this time they’d get a chance to bloom like a dozen summer suns, a bit of brightness in the dense overgrowth.

I think it’s over 100 words. Sorry, a recent interaction kind of bothered / influenced me and I don’t really write anyways.
Here is what I hope she’ll be gened with someday. Hopefully Mipsy is an acceptable name.
