@Oramis Alright, so my progenitors (Mardisia and Sgaille) are both Guardians, and they just had a daughter. Recently, they adopted a young male Guardian into their midst, and have already made plans to arrange a betrothal between the two of them. Their daughter (Maelle) is very willful and often does things to spite her mother, the clan matriarch. So I'm gonna work in your little guy as a oh-so NOT AT ALL cliche third in a love triangle. lol. Would that be okay? Here's a quick 100+ word lore. Ahem: [emoji=left wing]Uleneis, Usurper of Bonds, Affection Undying[emoji=right wing] A traveler, claiming to belong to the Clan of Oramis, arrived one day on the outskirts. Mardisia, at first, demanded the uninvited guest to leave. It became quickly obvious that this dragon needed help, and would not be leaving without asking a momentous favor first. Underneath him walked a newly hatched dragon, obviously only a few days old. The great guardian male introduced the hatchling as his son. He begged Mardisia to take him in, as he was fearful that there were dragons searching for them both, looking to take his son for sinister purposes. By their eyes, Mardisia could tell they were not descendants of the Windsinger. Knowing they had come from far away, she invited both dragons to stay for a few days. After the days had gone by, the adult male had revealed no new information about their origins, and still insisted on giving the child to the Clan of the Hidden Breeze. Feeling honor-bound, Mardisia relented to the request, and kept the young dragon, who was given the name Uleneis. Alongside her daughter Maelle, and her adopted son, Everethis, she decided to raise the hatchling as her own. However, she knew right away that she could not be as fond of this child as she was for her two other children. Everethis was considerate and sweet. Maelle, while bull-headed, was her only blood progeny. But Uleneis... Uleneis behaved too erratically for the Matriarch's taste. He was loud, often angry, and inconsiderate of the other dragons in her brood. Perhaps it was due to being left behind by his family, perhaps it was just who the young dragon innately was. Regardless, it was obvious to Mardisia that Everethis would be the best option for Maelle, and no exceptions could be made.
