i recently finished making a shawl that i started last summer, out of an old sweater of my dad's with holes in the elbows that i unravelled. it was a striped sweater, which means every couple of rows (sometimes twice in the same row esp as the shawl got wider) i had to splice in a new piece of yarn, and it was a little bit of a pain. but it came out looking [i]super[/i] cool [img]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/404847301828280321/870672330844676126/IMG_20210730_101709.jpg[/img] [img]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/404847301828280321/870672547493052516/IMG_20210730_101615.jpg[/img] also, here's my mom's almond milk recipe half a cup of raw almonds, soak overnight in a pint jar of water (1-2 cups) pour into blender and fill blender up to 4 cup mark (for 6 cup blender). save pint jar add 1 tablespoon flax seeds (optional; for flavor) blend on high for 3 minutes strain through cheesecloth and wire strainer into pot. add 2 more cups of water at this point, measured in the blender to wash the foam & bits out swirl gently and pour over cereal and save in quart jar. shake jar before use put almond meal in pint jar, and use it in biscuits, pancakes, waffles, etc
