Juxta13, I mostly want to say that I love your sig with the stained glass leaves!)
In the winter we hear the rumble and roar of 42 pounds of granite sliding along 25 yards of flat ice. The swish of the brooms. The encouraging calls of the skip.
The beautiful sight of a stone slipping neatly through the port of two other stones, to land gently in exactly the right place. The exciting crack of two stones colliding and vectoring off on new paths.
Intensity of focus, breathless arm aerobics, teamwork. Followed by relaxing with your competitors over a drink in a warm room.
It's curling season!

I had the perfect gif of a cat in the snow, but removed it during the last computer cleanout.
So I'll just tell you what it was!
It was this black kitten attacking the snow and creating these really large drifts. It was really cute!
Thanks for hosting this!

I chained up my babies! (I might take them all off and change them to shadow stuff next month)

@Juxta13
Thanks for running these raffles!
I'm in a part of the world that doesn't see much snow, so I always really enjoy it when we do get some. Everything is peaceful, and the smell of snow in the air tickles my senses. We recently had about a week of snowfall that lingered, so we were able to make some little snowmen and stomp around like dinosaurs through it - many fun times were had.
One of my favorite things was the sprinkling of little birby footprints in the snow!

thanks for doing this
My favorite thing about snow is the snow itself
where I live, we never have snow
nada. If there were snow, it would be a miracle
I like to go up to the mountains and play with the snow I will never have in my hometown

Aww, me too, actually, we never had snow in my hometown, but I’m going on a vacation a few weeks later and there’s snow at that place!

juxta13 when you step on a big crunchy slab of snow and it holds for a second before giving- it makes the most satisfying sound/sensation.

I love the quiet, stillness of a snowy night. Everything is quiet, even in the middle of the city. Snow gently falling, no footprints. Just beautiful, sparkling snow.
