By "an album," I mean a chunk of music about 30-60 minutes long. You can link to a playlist, or an internet radio station, as long as it's music. Make someone listen to an hour of lo-fi beats to study to, go wild.

Not required, but good etiquette: spoiler tag the actual album name. It cuts down on the possibility of someone skimming the thread and going 'Actually, on second thought, I'd rather not.' A little mystery is good for the soul - and keeps the thread rolling.

If you're posting something especially long or short, mention it so people can budget their time accordingly. If you're posting something especially violent or abrasive, mention it. Surprise is good, triggering someone is not.

coliseum grinding in style
Alright, everyone, it's time to rock and roll.

How It Works
Post to claim your spot and list an album for the next person in line.
Out-Of-TouchThursdays are Meme Music Days. Save the wacky, weird, and/or troll music until then. If it's music you want to share with people, post it whenever... if it's music you want to inflict on people, save it for Thursday.
Grind in the coliseum for however long it takes you to listen to the album posted above you.
Listen to the whole thing. Yes, the whole thing.
Participating means you're willing to take risks and step outside your comfort zone for the sake of discovery. If you end up discovering industrial art metal isn't your cup of tea, it'll at least be something to complain about besides grinding.
When you finish, go back and edit your post with your opinion on the music!

I've heard of AJR before, but hadn't really listened to more than 3 or 4 of their songs... this will be fun! Already love it a lot based on the first songs. their album covers are all very cool too
oh wow... how have I been missing out on AJR for so long ?? the songs are so "song within the first 15 minutes of a movie to establish the main character's motivations" and it is a lovely thing to listen to to start the NotN grind :Oc i also tend to be picky when artists use noticeably processed vocals, but this rocks ?? the mix of more electronic elements with piano or ukulele is very fun
i don't think i could pick a favourite song if i tried.... quite obsessed with Christmas in June though, cant wait to listen to it on real christmas LOL. one of those kinda songs where you just gotta sway your head to the music. thank you for showing me this album, that's 12 more songs i gotta add to my playlist haha

first opinion from the first song: this sounds like 2015-2016 radio music. i did not have spotify at the time so this is a compliment i learned to like that style!
closing thoughts: lately was amazing! definitely my favorite of the whole album. feels driving, but also contemplative.
unstable (link) (ending of this album is a bit hard on the ears)

First opinion on the first song: sounds like hard rock- I don’t normally listen to rock/hard rock but for some reason this is like just hitting the spot at seven in the morning
Interesting drops: Didn’t get a screenshot but 3 chests at once- I didn’t know that could happen lol

Bamboo toilet paper!!
I am a pile of guinea pigs in a trench coat
Editing now that i finished the album! I actually really enjoyed it, he has really nice voice and the entire album was very calm if a bit melancholy at times.

@raccqn: i never really got into MCR during their heyday (i was more into linkin park and three days grace) but this was a fun listen! i really like "Party Poison" and "DESTROYA" !

Thoughts: I've seen this artist pop up in my Spotify recommendations before, but haven't listened to them. "Who passed the AUX-cord"-vibes at first, but it slowly evolved into "hey, this is quite cool!" (I have listened to artists similar to this, the two that I am reminded of are Nero's Day at Disneyland, alongside Ruby My Dear). The overall feel and song titles give me a desolate cyberpunk feel that tries to stay happy but can't.
Favourite song is "Foster Care Kid Running Away Again".
Interesting drops;
Ambush
Concentration
11 Strange Chests
Woolly Walrus
Longneck Wanderer
Auburn Woolly Walrus
Obsidian Hybrid Fragment
Glassbound Solarvul
Scholar
Guard
Scratch x2
Rally
Enamor x2
Bullephant
Sap
Next person: Björk - Post / YouTube OR Spotify
Updated the YouTube link, as it had "unneccessary sounds" (potentially to scurry away copyright claims).
