Teams Fiefdom and Bourgeois, in turn, are pulled forward 4 spaces each![/b] > But [b]Team Diadem[/b] refuses to lose ground! Using all their might to avoid flying backwards the way they came, the team elects [b]Kaz the Tundra[/b] to use his [b]Smells Familiar[/b] ability! Both he and the scroll begin to glow as he gains the ability to smell his elemental kin's Lightning energy nearby. It's just enough to keep the team on its feet, but [b]it's as if Team Diadem hadn't moved at all! [/b] > Taking advantage of the teams ahead of them being distracted, [b]Teams Etiquette and Castle use their Nocturnes' Sneaking Through ability![/b] Sensing the absence of offensive scroll magic, [b]Scy[/b] and [b]Djalkava[/b] seem to blend right into the surrounding scenery, weaving through rubble and other obstacles at breakneck speeds! [b]Teams Etiquette and Castle gain 10 spaces respectively![/b] > Lastly, [b]Team Ambrosia's Imperial Vivid[/b] opens her scroll and recites the incantation. Great golden wings of light unfurl and lift the entire team off the ground, flying them half the distance between them and the team previously in first place. She’s pumped and freaking out everyone that is nearby, sprinting across the field with her war-cry. She did get to observe the other teams along the way and imparts her wisdom of the day to her teammates. “We should stay away from being 1st. @Stormdragon We should use your coatl's ability, Team D has a Lightning dragon, and that will gain us the most spaces.

@Prescott @Jellitan @Askurasaki Soulseye followed the nocturne’s lead; Scy looked more invigorated than ever and seemed to be fully focused on the track. Soulseye’s mind cleared, and the entirety of his mind focused on the movement of his limbs, his paws hitting the path, his breath churning to the perfect pace, like a flawlessly automated contraption. He was running at his best speed, and yet, his motions were as silent as could be. He didn’t know for much he had been running, and it took him a bit to realize that his team, silently and focused, had traversed a great distance and passed over several of the other teams, almost unnoticed. The mirror glanced at his teammates to see how they were doing; they were going at a decent speed. Pavlina was going at a steady rythm and Telora had picked up the pace nicely. He was surprised to realize Scy seemed to maintain the same potent speed he saw before, even going at an even quicker pace at times, pushing the team forward, fully determined. They seemed to be doing great right now, but Soulseye felt uneasy as he saw the shapes of the other teams approaching. He had seen those spectral spirals knocking off the former leading team off the path. Soulseye didn’t want to admit it but that got a scare out of him. He reminded himself that it was all in good fun, and that the spells weren’t actually dangerous. Sorry to bother you, but if we sapped a team of 15 spaces, shouldn't we gain 8 spaces since Bogsneak's ability gives us half the spaces rounded up?

@Starefaba Oh, whoops, there’s a discrepancy in the rules. Bogsneak should only gain 2 spaces for every 6 and 1 space for every 5 it takes away. The ability on the spreadsheet is correct, but not on the thread. So sorry about that mess-up!!
(8 spaces is a lot to gain for an attack ability imo, which is why it’s the only attack ability that doesn’t gain half the spaces lost by the other team)
