Granith's Charge
The Ashfall Waste - Molten Scar
Near the eastern border of the Ashfall Waste, a deep crater homes the clan of Granith's Charge. The steeps of igneous rock and magma form a protective wall around a dragonled hospital, one that welcomes both kin and beasts alike. In fact, the hospital is flanked on either side by allied beastclans: to the west, the Harpy refugees, and to the east, the Flamescale Serthis. The lavafall to the south pools near the nesting grounds and clan's base, providing a warm embrace for the Flameborn hatchlings. Though Granith's Charge was established to be a place of healing and safety, the heart of the territory bears the scars of a warzone in a battle of Dragons and Harpies long past. In an otherwise desolate and uninviting land, this clan in the heart of the Molten Scar is known for offering protection and forgiveness to all who seek redemption.

Lore

Long ago when dragons were still adapting and evolving to the new world created, a mass group of dragons ranging of all types of fire heritages chose a creator and a lavafall pool to be where they would reside and lay their eggs. They lived an easy life by assigning roles to keep their home habitable and sharing their kinds tales of creations to keep cultures alive. Word spread far and wide about the land where those who were classified as a subspecies could reside and live in peace, but not all who heard this were happy. Outside of the fires homeland, a contract was being forged by a dastardly light clan and a devilish harpy community. The contact was agreed upon and the harpies prepared to create a war. Many fell in the battlefields and the dragons lost their ground, making the land abandoned by all dragon activity. It stood that way for centuries until two guardians chose the land to be their new home of their clan; clan Boltninja.

There are three major events that have occurred in these lands: Clan Boltninjas establishment, the harpy/dragon war, and the light clan attack. There is also an other event that ties in other dragons that weren’t affected by any of the three events. Each dragon shares a story of how they came to be at these grounds through either of these events. Their familiars also share a story with them to either help them along the way.

Clan Establishment

The two leaders of clan Boltninja were both andanoned Igneous Flow subspecies hatchlings, wandering the ashfall wastes, trying to beat their oncoming fates. They grew up together, guarded each other and slowly made a bond together. The male, Scivil felt that his charge was with her but the female Granith knew he wasn’t hers. It hurt Scivil of course but he still encouraged her and stayed by her side. The more they grew the more Granith gave up searching for the charge, instead turning her attention to making her own clan. They chose a plot of land next to a lava flow and a huge creator in the ground. Over the years more and more dragons would be allowed into the clan and assigned all kinds of roles from mercenaries, bounty hunters, miners, gardeners and more. Strange events such as raising of the dead and hearing the gods became normal events on this cursed land with more activity caused by Granith and Scivil making alliances with the two close beastclans; the icefield harpy refugees and the flamescale seriths. Perhaps Granith being the leader of clan Boltninja was her charge.

Harpy, Dragon Wars

Their home went from peace to a battlefield to a burial ground in a matter of hours. It was a massive hatchery where dragons could peacefully hatch their eggs in continue sharing their stories and bloodlines. However, an everlasting pain would occur when the first wave of harpies were seen over the horizon. Soon after clan Boltninja was established in this long forgotten war zone, enemy harpy activity rose once again. Maybe it was a coincidence, maybe they knew, but this time the dragons wouldn’t lose.

Light Clan Attack

Things were changing in the sunbeam ruins; things for the worst. There was a clan out in the Hewn City, a clan that started out normal enough. There was no fighting, no screams, no worries, just a happy community serving for their god; but things changed when the leader Claret, touched the amulet given to her from what she thought was a luminous ambassador. Things went from good to bad over time as the leader began to crumble. Their home became a fighting ground, the others under her wings turned feral and deranged, hellbent on seeing blood spill. Claret needed more of the amulets power, more of its drive but it faded over time, but never fully before a supposedly ambassador would arrive. The ‘ambassador’ told Claret to make an alliance with a harpy clan out in the shifting expanse, telling her that fresh prey would be given to her if she did; how could she say no.
