I wanted to join this project because I don't tend to breed dragons a lot; I have a few fodder pairs that are almost entirely triple fire, and it's gotten kinda boring and predictable. I wanted a splash of color! I love weird and funky XYZs. Plus, I don't really have any flaunt/flair dragons other than the two I picked up for this, even though I love the gene. I'm hoping to create some delightful monstrosities, and maybe even help people with their breeding projects! I like art, writing, and ttrpgs! I also make accents on FR! I'm debating making custom accents for my current Pond pair, to make em real fancy! There's not much to say about me but I've been having a lot of fun with this project so far (the first ever nest I hatched contained an XYY)! The kids always turn out so pretty, it's hard not to keep them all! I'm really glad I decided to take part in this. (He's Raspberry/Jade/Pumpkin) The first one is Stained (and until the Abs and Pharaoh came out, you could barely tell it was on a dragon unless it was Pie /Paint) and the second scry was Spines. So that's what's meant by "hidden" genes. Spines isn't as bad as Stained, and Stained is pretty much tied to Pie/Paint and Phar/Sarc as far as visibility goes. But the whole idea is to make weird, flashy bizarre dragons, and if you can't tell what their colors are, it looses some impact. And while you have the only Murk/Lavender/Turq, your mate, a Dust/Orange/Blood has only occurred 5 times in the game's history, and all are exalted. The alternative mate to a Murk/Lavender/Turquoise would be a Grey/Bronze/Maroon which is also rather hard to find, as all have been exalted and have only occurred 5 times as well. But on the other hand, it's relatively much easier to find XXX of each of the colors that make up the one you want. But, we do have people who are playing this in super-challenge mode and have found opposite XYZ dragons. But for obvious reasons, opposite mates can be very hard to find and might necessitate breeding projects of their own.
