Today I've participated in the Scrying Challenge with an extra silly entry, heehee.
[b]Lore Task: Our Game-a-thon is coming to a close. Tell us about how your dragons participated in this year's festival. Did you stop by every event? Maybe just one or two caught your eye? Perhaps you spent way too much time in the coli. Tell us about it![/b]
Well a lot of my clan have been celebrating Nature this time round, some of them visiting the festival itself and others at home by dressing up the burrow and playing games amongst themselves.
I haven't had time to play much of the other games with running an event myself but I certainly found that every one is much faster than me and Pictionary!
The week before that however, Shortcake, the lead of the guard (and therefore Coliseum) had an absolutely record breaking week in the Coli!

I checked out the page for every event, but this week I spent the most time on pictionary, here, and the coliseum. Collectively, my clan has gotten over 1000 nature currency due to the efforts of Novelle, Amber, Warpstorm and Fuchsia (thank you to Maki's recommended grinding build). Bismuth and Snapping had a great time playing Pictionary, while Karthman picked up some snack bags, each with different tasty foods and amazing familiars, plus a basket with a prismatic token! Thank you to the Nature community for making such a fun week of events even after the festival push week!!

She is most known for her masterful use of camouflage, by combing both magic and a creative combination of apparel she can make herself look like a native dragon of any region. Her preferred disguises are those that make her look like a Nature dragon. |
Saturday - Scrying Challenge
I participated in the Scrying Challenge.
[b]Friday:[/b] I'm going to do the Lore Task for today and tell you about some of my creative dragons - I have quite a few! The vast majority of them enjoy being creative with words.
[url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=1172183]Daell[/url] (my progenitors' grandson) is a talented storyteller - he really loves telling stories (especially retellings of myths and legends) out loud and is a favourite among the hatchlings for his bedtime stories. His partner [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=2236933]Skald[/url] is more of a scribe and record-keeper - but just because you're writing down other dragons' words doesn't mean that the work can't be beautiful! His books all look like medieval illuminated manuscripts. (If you don't know that those look like: Google Image Search them, they're gorgeous!) My fandragon [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=17040474]Bilbo[/url] is another storyteller, though he's very protective of his work-in-progress manuscript and won't let anyone see it - he claims it's not ready yet!

[url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=3618008]Edda[/url] is another poet, though she favours shorter poetical forms (and is less pushing about sharing them). Her partner [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=2697432]Saga[/url] is technically more of a historian, but his retellings of clan history can be creatively embelished when the mood strikes him!
I have a small collection of musically inclined dragons, too. [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=15933834]Thorin[/url] plays the harp, while [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=17799910]DeLorean[/url] and [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=5871457]The (Twelfth) Doctor[/url] fight over the guitar. (They are all fandragons from various things.)
I don't have (m)any visual artists in the Clan! [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=2816790]Thruda[/url] is the Clan's resident 'tattoo' artist (she and her familiar are my Lore explanation for applying skins/accents) and I think that counts! (There's a whole Lore story about how that came about in her bio.)
... I want a proper painter and more (non-fandragon) musicians now!

Thanks for the reminder about the dark chess set badges - and in fact, thank you for running this event all through the week. It's encouraged me to take part in more activities and I've had a lot of fun!
