Next to the signs, it is not a dragon but a painted centaur who stands guard He welcomes you and asks about the purpose of the visit, speaking your language astonishingly well. It is then a coppercoil creeper that shows you the way through a labyrinth of passages until you reach the central cave.

The room is a large oval with almost white walls that sparkle slightly in the light of the torches. Through a hole somewhere in the high ceiling, the evening sunlight trickles in and falls on a couch next to a couple of bookshelves. The decorations are eclectic, with large colorful stones, cushions, tapestries, and several murals, including a large map of the world with markings showing the whereabouts of various clan members and friends. Curtains in a variety of colors and patterns hide passages to other parts of the lair. All in all, the cave looks somewhat messy, but inviting and comfortable.

Around the hearthfire, dragons and beasts alike are assembled. Closer to the wall a delrin, laying on the bank of a stream that runs through the cave, seems to be listening intently to a purple skydancer, though it shouldn't be able to understand the dragon's words. A group of hatchlings, playing and taking rides on the back of a patient terra tortoise, are watched by a petalmane floron. The familiars in this lair certainly show unusual behaviors!
