Asriel: named/awakened familiar Alliance (Chillwind Harpy)
This fits for multiple reasons: for one, the colors match some of Asriel's; secondly, harpies are one of the Beastclans, and more specifically, the leader of the Beastclans is a harpie named Talona - considering that Asriel's lore is very focused on dragonkind-beastclan relations, I thought having a harpie as a familiar to reflect an alliance really fit. Lastly, the description of this familiar talks about migration to an entirely different area - which, again, for me fits with the theme of being outside of an origin point / the willingness to branch out and coexist with other races (similarly to the Banescale lore, if that makes any sense!).

I changed all instances of the abbreviation "poly" to "polyam" on my profiles because I only just now learned that polyam is the correct abbreviation for "polyamorous" - otherwise "poly" might refer to "Polynesia" and I wanted to clear up any possible confusion or incorrect terminology!

Octavo now has two art pieces (adoptables specifically)! You can view them in his GALLERY! This effectively means he's actually done / complete - the only dragon of mine that is 100% complete haha. I may collect more art pieces for him down the road, however! And I may also add little shortstories to his profile for some extra lore that doesn't count as its own story, but would just be fun to have because why not.

Nameless' familiar is now Awakened! I predicted back on September 21, 2020 that it would awaken on December 14th but wasn't 100% sure due to already having some bond progress on the familiar, but it looks like I was only one day off in my calculations - and it awakened a day earlier than I expected! Heck yeah.

So here's all of the dragons I've picked up recently; I have decided that, since these are all technically on [b]Hiatus[/b] or [b]Pending[/b] I am actually [i]not[/i] going to be adding the little goals icons to them because they are really not a priority to work on, and seeing all of that just stresses me out. I've also removed all of that from the existing ones currently listed under Hiatus as well. I am also moving some of them to [b]Pending[/b] because I'm not 100% sure if I'll keep them, unlike the actual ones I plan to keep. I just picked them up for one reason or another. Now... Kotake and Koume are two characters that I have always really, [b]really[/b], [b][i]really[/i][/b] liked a lot from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask. I actually even named two of my fish (my actual real life pets - one was silvery colored and the other was orange; they were both bettas) after them at one point - Twi and Rova. (Because for those that don't know, they are two twin sisters who can combine into one being named Twinrova, who is the boss of the Spirit Temple of that game. And then in Majora's Mask they're just super dorky witches and I love them literally so much okay...) Dang I'm even considering getting a dragon in addition to these two named Twinrova, and then another fricking one named Synthrova because of the boss from Cadence of Hyrule that was clearly a reference to Twinrova. Is it weird to have like 4 flipping fandragons of these two gals? Fight me LOL. Anyways actual nerd ramble aside, the reason why I say "I was really very excited to get this dragon initially" is because shortly after buying Dalila I was contacted by the seller who thought I'd grabbed her for exalt fodder. (She was like 60Kt though and well above fodder price, but I get she was sitting in my "fodder" tab - I just hadn't moved her to Unsorted yet. That's literally just my dragon inbox tab because I DO buy a lot of fodder and don't want to have to move ALL of THEM into a fodder tab; I buy keeper-dragons far less often so it just makes sense for my inbox to be my fodder tab.) I quickly explained I wanted to keep her because I'd been looking for one with her colors for a long time, and that's when they realized she was an XXY and they backtracked and wanted to keep her after that. Which to me just really bummed me out admittedly (absolutely no salt to the seller or anything!), because I was just super excited to get this girl aha. So now I've made arrangements with the seller where we're going to try to breed another one with my requirements so that I can have one and the seller can have Dalila back. The only problem is I super did not want yet another breeding project and coatls have the longest flipping cooldown ever and personally I don't care about the breed because I'm going to be breedchanging them to ridgebacks anyways (okay you must understand. They MUST have their pointy noses. Have you SEEN Kotake and Koume? Decided on Obsidian tertiary that same day because it looks SO good with Mop, so I actually bought Mop + Dark Sclera for this dragon. I am SO thrilled to find this one; I actually [i]hardcore[/i] adore the monochromatic aesthetic so goshdang much (my actual persona, Vaixation, is even themed about it - and Damien here is lowkey like........ a reference to my persona ahaha...). Ohhhh gosh I am just SOOOO happy to have this dragon now holy flying frick. I also love that this one was born in December because it really just vibes with the Winter aesthetic hardcore. Hnnngh. (I drew literally 33 images for Art Fight - a lot of them were fully shaded, too - that's a LOT to do in a month okay and I'm exhausted still.) I've got a few updates to make to this thread but I currently don't have the energy to, mainly they involve Project Wildcat and my progress on September's Dragon of the Month. I'm going be picking a new Dragon of the Month since it's October 1st now before I forget, however, and make a proper post about it when I'm more able / not exhausted! On another note I've decided that if the DotM roll lands on fodder / not a perma dragon I will either re-roll or use the month to go after different goals (like getting familiars I still need).
