Shade is named after the Hero's Shade from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess; therefore his familiar's name "Hero" should be self-explanatory. "Reborn" refers to Zero Two's status as both a reincarnation of my dragon Zero, as well as a reincarnation of Zero from the source material from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Ya (F)'s familiar "Colorburst" refers to the vivacious energy of the spiral as well as the vivid colors of the actual familiar. Shade (F)'s familiar "Tranquility" is a nod to his overall demeanor and vibe. "Innocence" refers to the name of the song linked in Nona's trivia section. Flowey's familiar "Pellets" refers to his attack bullets, that he deceptively attempts to call "Friendliness Pellets" in the beginning of Undertale; I unfortunately couldn't fit the entire phrase in there in a way that looked aesthetically pleasing to me. Twigleg's familiar "Falsegold" refers to Nettlebrand, a beastclan character from his lore as well as the general idea of alchemy's attempt at creating artificial gold, a theme present in his source material (Dragon Rider - Cornelia Funke).
