A Necromancer's Magic 8 Ball

The Riot of Rot festivities are in full swing all around you, but you push past the revelers and the colorful booths, looking for something specific...

Necromancers. You've heard there was one here in this normally quiet boarder town, sent down from their Council's citadel to administer to the travelers that have decided to brave the Plaguelands during the holy Riot. Here, and willing to offer blessings, perhaps even answer questions. For a price.

You find it at last, the unsigned tent on the corner with its draping of gilded bones and red-painted runes, and when you push through it takes a moment to adjust to the darkened, candle-lit interior. The air is filled with a sickly-sweet smelling smoke, emphasis on the sickly, which is hardly surprising in the Plaguelands. Finally the shadows take on form and depth and you realize you aren't alone. Three other dragons regard you from around the tent. One in particular, a female Mirror seated less than a body length away, is looking you up and down with the cold, unblinking interest of a reptile.

"Well, have a seat I don't have all day." She points to a modest chair that has been drawn up to the table between you, angled slightly in invitation. "You have questions. I can see them buzzing around your head," her lip twitches. "Lucky you, I know how to pluck the wings off those errant queries and bring them to earth. Now, sit."

Her red eyes draw you in and you find yourself seated at the table, claws clasped in your lap.

"Before we begin, I assume you know what I am?"

You nod. "A Necromancer."

"A Plague Necromancer," she emphasizes, "servant to Mother Plaguebringer, a physical embodiment of Her left hand. Do not confuse us with necromancers of other flights," she adds, a note of warning in her voice. "The undead are walking abominations, blasphemy made flesh. A Plague Necromancer has nothing to do with such sacrilege. Instead we are masters of necrosis. After passing my trials I can curse and cure with a touch. My specialty is in reading Mother's Will through the progression of disease. Which brings us to the point."

She places a disturbing selection of ropes, manacles, and restraints on the table before you.

"Did you bring a familiar with you? I imagine you don't want to serve as a conduit of Mother's Will yourself?" Her maw cracks open, showing sharp incisors and equally sharp, neatly-filed premolars. "I can work with any materials, it's up to you. But remember, you get what you pay for."

How to Play:

Kishna will channel the infinite wisdom of Mother Plaguebringer to answer your dragon's 'Yes' or 'No' question, however she needs a familiar sacrifice to read Mother's will.
You may ask one question a day.
Pick an option from Kishna's Divination Menu if you are willing to send payment in the form of a familiar. If not, choose Caratacus' or Apoxia's option instead!

Mother's Favor - For this option, post in the thread and then send 3idolon a 1-way CR with a familiar attached.
SSPCF - Not a fan of the fatal exploitation of familiars? Never fear, Kishna's mate, Kobari, specializes in curing her divination subjects before things turn deadly. But now you've got to pay him too. Send 3idolon a 1-way CR with a small donation. Any kind or amount is acceptable. But don't expect much for your benevolence, Kishna's answer will be less thorough if the disease isn't allowed to run its full course.

OR

Three-card Monte - Don't have a familiar and up for a gamble? Not a problem. Send any bit of anything in a 1-way CR to Delotha. Caratacus will draw one tarot card at random and provide its meaning. How you decide it applies to your dragon is up to you.

OR

Runes - Send any kind of bone-themed Material or Other item to WyldAngel in a 1-way CR. In exchange Apoxia will throw the bones and reveal three secret things about you or answer any question.

Complete the form below with your divination choice and post it in the thread. Send your payment to the proper recipient.
Kishna, Caratacus, and Apoxia will answer your questions in batches. Please be patient as answers may take up to 24 hours depending on RL and FR responsibilities!

Think i can help out, Mother's Glory needs to be spread and many helping hands are needed!
